【摘要】：匯率作為開放宏觀經(jīng)濟中的重要價格,對貿(mào)易依存度較高的中國經(jīng)濟有著深遠影響。在經(jīng)濟發(fā)展模式轉(zhuǎn)型的背景下,本文基于2005年人民幣匯率制度改革來分析和研究匯率變動對勞動生產(chǎn)率的影響,并采取傾向性得分匹配和雙重差分的方法來識別匯率變動與勞動生產(chǎn)率間的因果關系,嘗試從微觀層面揭示匯率在中國經(jīng)濟轉(zhuǎn)型和增長驅(qū)動模式轉(zhuǎn)變中扮演的重要角色。本文的研究結(jié)果表明,人民幣實際升值使得勞動生產(chǎn)率有所提升,能夠解釋2005年至2007年6.5%的勞動生產(chǎn)率的變化。研究還進一步識別了匯率變動影響勞動生產(chǎn)率的機制,人民幣實際升值加劇了競爭程度,競爭的加劇能夠通過逃離競爭效應促進勞動生產(chǎn)率的提升。
[Abstract]:Exchange rate, as an important price in open macro economy, has a profound influence on China's economy with high degree of trade dependence. Based on the reform of RMB exchange rate system in 2005, this paper analyzes and studies the impact of exchange rate change on labor productivity under the background of economic development model transformation. The paper also adopts the method of tendency score matching and double difference to identify the causality between exchange rate change and labor productivity, and tries to reveal the important role of exchange rate in the transformation of Chinese economy and the transformation of growth-driven mode from the micro level. The results show that the real appreciation of RMB can improve labor productivity, which can explain the 6.5% change of labor productivity from 2005 to 2007. Furthermore, the mechanism of exchange rate change affecting labor productivity is further identified. The real appreciation of RMB intensifies the degree of competition, and the intensification of competition can promote the improvement of labor productivity by escaping the competition effect.
