基于跨文化能力培養(yǎng)的《商務英語綜合教程》評估

如今,不同文化群體的溝通交流愈加頻繁,跨文化能力已成為促成跨文化交流活動成功的核心因素之一。外語語言教學課堂是跨文化能力培養(yǎng)的重要場所之一,英語語言教材也成為了培養(yǎng)跨文化能力的重要媒介?缥幕芰ξ磥韽氖驴缥幕虅栈顒拥娜瞬艁碚f尤為重要,而商務英語專業(yè)的目標就是培養(yǎng)既具備優(yōu)秀的語言技能又具備對本國和異國文化有較全面了解的有效跨文化溝通者。因此,商務英語專業(yè)的語言教材也應該擔負起一定的跨文化知識傳遞和跨文化能力培養(yǎng)的任務。為此,本研究選取商務英語綜合教程這套教材作為研究和評估目標。此套教材在全國范圍內(nèi)使用廣泛,并且被作為廣東外語外貿(mào)大學商務英語專業(yè)第一和第二學年必修課的主教材。使用這套教材的《綜合商務英語》課程的教學時數(shù)在教學計劃中占比非常重,在培養(yǎng)學生跨文化能力方面也扮演著重大角色,而教材前言部分也聲明了教材的目標之一是提升學生的文化知識儲備以促進學生未來國際商務活動的成功。綜合上述動因,本研究旨在研究《商務英語綜合教程》這套教材是如何培養(yǎng)學生跨文化能力的以及有哪些建議可以幫助修訂這套教材。為實現(xiàn)本文的研究目的,本研究采用了Byram對語言教學中跨文化能力評估的理論和程曉堂對教材的內(nèi)...
