我國商業(yè)銀行國際化路徑選擇研究

【摘要】:當前,我國商業(yè)銀行仍處在“走出去”的初級階段,面對國際金融形勢的不斷變革,選擇適合自己的國際化路徑變得尤為重要。受歷史因素及行業(yè)內(nèi)特定的結(jié)構(gòu)性差異影響,我國國有大型商業(yè)銀行機構(gòu)體系龐大,隨著中小股份制銀行的異軍突起,目前我國商業(yè)銀行在國內(nèi)經(jīng)濟形勢中難以獲得突破式進展,必須開始尋求海外發(fā)展,參與國際競爭,而最直觀的形式之一就是設立境外機構(gòu)。從目前的參與主體來看,多以大型國有商業(yè)銀行為主導,而中型股份制商業(yè)銀行緊隨其后,近年來也加快推進海外擴張這一新興戰(zhàn)略。隨著我國商業(yè)銀行國際化的不斷發(fā)展,其在海外市場的表現(xiàn)也是可圈可點的,雖然境外機構(gòu)的資產(chǎn)和利潤在全行的占比仍然較小,但總體仍保持著穩(wěn)步前進的良好態(tài)勢;從業(yè)務經(jīng)營范圍的多樣化性來看還略顯單一,整體盈利水平仍不盡如人意,與國外大型商業(yè)銀行國際化深度和廣度相比,我國商業(yè)銀行的國際化還有很長的路要走。本文從后危機時代各國政府相繼出臺激勵政策鼓勵本國商業(yè)銀行走出國門,提升國際市場的競爭力這一大背景出發(fā)。首先,對當前的國內(nèi)外研究成果進行綜述,指出文章的框架及研究方法。其次,梳理了商業(yè)銀行國際化路徑選擇的理論基礎,概況了國際化路徑的概念及路徑種類,說明不同路徑下商業(yè)銀行國際化的利弊。此外,還總結(jié)了不同國際化路徑的動因理論;接著從歷史演進、投資主體、區(qū)位選擇及國際化路徑實施方面說明現(xiàn)階段我國商業(yè)銀行國際化的現(xiàn)狀和存在的問題;第四部分列舉了匯豐銀行國際化的成功和蘇格蘭皇家銀行并購的失敗案例,總結(jié)出外資金融機構(gòu)在海外擴張過程中的經(jīng)驗教訓。第五部分采用DEA模型測度了十四家在銀行業(yè)中具有代表性的商業(yè)銀行進行效率測度,得出銀行國際化與效率之間存在正相關關系,再進一步細分不同境外擴張路徑對銀行效率的影響因素;最后,文章針對前文中的對比分析、實證分析得出跨國并購可以通過資源整合和管理經(jīng)驗共享等優(yōu)勢來彌補我國商業(yè)銀行國際化起步晚,跨國經(jīng)營管理經(jīng)驗不足的缺陷。尤其是對于資產(chǎn)規(guī)模較大的標的銀行的并購,我們應先與東道國的商業(yè)銀行合作建立合資子銀行。通過控股或者參股的方式進行合資銀行的國際業(yè)務經(jīng)營,如此可以解決融資的成本、政策準入等問題,又能學習先進的管理經(jīng)驗和國際化方法。綜上所述,本文的創(chuàng)新之處在于從銀行的個體效率視角出發(fā),分析探討不同路徑選擇對銀行國際化的效率影響,研究角度較為新穎。得出在今后的國際化路徑選擇過程中,我國商業(yè)銀行應轉(zhuǎn)變?yōu)橐钥鐕①彏橹饕绞、輔以新建投資,并適時地開展戰(zhàn)略聯(lián)盟的合資經(jīng)營模式的結(jié)論。
[Abstract]:At present, China's commercial banks are still in the initial stage of "going out". In the face of the continuous changes in the international financial situation, it is particularly important to choose an international path suitable for our own.Influenced by historical factors and specific structural differences within the industry, the institutional system of large state-owned commercial banks in China is huge. With the emergence of small and medium-sized joint-stock banks,At present, it is difficult for our commercial banks to make breakthrough progress in the domestic economic situation, so we must start to seek overseas development and participate in international competition, and one of the most intuitive forms is to set up overseas institutions.From the view of the participants at present, the large state-owned commercial banks are the dominant ones, while the medium-sized joint-stock commercial banks follow closely, and in recent years they have also accelerated the overseas expansion as a new strategy.With the continuous development of the internationalization of commercial banks in China, their performance in the overseas market is also remarkable. Although the proportion of assets and profits of foreign institutions in the whole bank is still relatively small, it still maintains a good trend of steady progress.In terms of the diversification of business scope, the overall profit level is still not satisfactory. Compared with the international depth and breadth of foreign large commercial banks, the internationalization of commercial banks in China has a long way to go.In the post-crisis era, the governments of various countries have introduced incentive policies to encourage their commercial banks to go abroad and enhance the competitiveness of the international market.First of all, the current domestic and foreign research results are summarized, and the framework and research methods are pointed out.Secondly, it combs the theoretical basis of commercial bank internationalization path choice, summarizes the concept and path types of international path, and explains the advantages and disadvantages of commercial bank internationalization under different paths.In addition, it summarizes the motivation theory of different internationalization paths, then explains the current situation and existing problems of the internationalization of Chinese commercial banks from the aspects of historical evolution, investment subject, location choice and internationalization path implementation.The fourth part enumerates the success of HSBC's internationalization and the failure of Royal Bank of Scotland's merger and acquisition, and sums up the experience and lessons of foreign financial institutions in the process of overseas expansion.The fifth part uses the DEA model to measure the efficiency of 14 representative commercial banks in the banking industry, and draws the conclusion that there is a positive correlation between the internationalization and efficiency of the banks.Further subdivide the influence factors of different overseas expansion paths on the bank efficiency. Finally, the paper makes a comparative analysis on the above mentioned.The empirical analysis shows that transnational M & A can make up for the defects of the late start of internationalization of Chinese commercial banks and the lack of experience in transnational management through the advantages of resource integration and management experience sharing.Especially for the M & A of the target banks with large assets, we should first establish the joint venture sub-banks with the commercial banks of the host country.The international business of the joint-venture bank can be operated by holding or taking shares, which can solve the problems of financing cost, policy access, and learn advanced management experience and international methods.To sum up, the innovation of this paper is that from the perspective of individual efficiency of banks, this paper analyzes and discusses the impact of different paths on the efficiency of bank internationalization, and the research angle is relatively novel.It is concluded that in the course of the choice of internationalization path in the future, the commercial banks of our country should change to the joint venture mode of transnational merger and acquisition, supplemented by new investment and timely development of strategic alliance.
