“911事件”后美國國際研究生教育:挑戰(zhàn)、對策與現(xiàn)狀

【摘要】：美國高度重視國際研究生在美國發(fā)展中的作用。但是,"911事件"以來的簽證制度以及世界其他國家的競爭減弱了美國吸引國際研究生的能力。2004年以來,美國政府、高校和研究機構共同努力,推動了國際研究生入學數(shù)量的回升。2007年新出臺的美國研究生院理事會(CGS)報告分析了2006-2007年度美國研究生院中國際研究生入學以及與國際高校建立合作學位項目的情況,指出國際研究生入學數(shù)量有了較大的增長,而且較多的美國高校和國際高校建立了合作學位項目,但在國際研究生入學方面仍存在一些問題。
[Abstract]:The United States attaches great importance to the role of international graduate students in the development of the United States. But visa regimes since 9 / 11 and competition from the rest of the world have weakened the ability of the United States to attract international graduate students. Since 2004, the U.S. government, universities and research institutions have worked together. The new 2007 (CGS) report of the Board of Governors of the Graduate School of the United States analyzed the international graduate enrollment in the United States Graduate School in 2006-2007 and the establishment of cooperative degree programs with international colleges and universities. It is pointed out that the number of international graduate students has increased greatly, and more American and international universities have established cooperative degree programs, but there are still some problems in the field of international graduate enrollment.
