日本小學“外語活動”探析

【摘要】:2011年4月起,日本新《學習指導要領(lǐng)》規(guī)定,小學5、6年級開設(shè)"外語活動"。本文對"外語活動"的設(shè)置過程、定位、目標、內(nèi)容及教學方式、方法等問題進行了系統(tǒng)考察,認為"外語活動"是以日本經(jīng)濟社會轉(zhuǎn)型為背景,在社會各界充分討論的基礎(chǔ)上開設(shè)的。日本小學注重母語教育,"外語活動"定位于中學英語課鋪墊,以培養(yǎng)學生運用外語進行交流的意識和加深對語言文化的理解為目的,以外語"交流"和"語言文化"體驗為兩大主要內(nèi)容,采取浸入式、課題型教學方式和"TT"教學法。盡管取得了一定的成效,但仍存在小學階段是否應開設(shè)外語教學、是否應設(shè)置外語課程等問題的爭議。
[Abstract]:Since April 2011, Japan's New guidelines for Learning has provided for "foreign language activities" in grade 5 ~ 6 of primary school. This paper makes a systematic investigation of the setting process, orientation, objectives, contents, teaching methods and methods of "foreign language activities", and holds that "foreign language activities" is based on the economic and social transformation of Japan. Set up on the basis of full discussion in all walks of life. Japanese primary school pays attention to mother tongue education, "foreign language activity" is set up in English course of middle school, with the aim of cultivating students' consciousness of using foreign language for communication and deepening their understanding of language and culture. With the experience of foreign language "communication" and "language culture" as the two main contents, the teaching method of "immersion", "subject" and "TT" is adopted. Although some achievements have been made, there are still disputes about whether foreign language teaching should be offered and whether foreign language curriculum should be set up in primary school.
