【摘要】：美國(guó)基督教青年會(huì)在遠(yuǎn)東體育協(xié)會(huì)的創(chuàng)立過(guò)程中至為關(guān)鍵。19世紀(jì)末,美國(guó)基督教青年會(huì)日漸成熟,開(kāi)始拓展海外傳教事業(yè),東亞地區(qū)被認(rèn)為是未來(lái)"基督"文化傳承與發(fā)展的重要領(lǐng)地。1912年,美青會(huì)干事布朗發(fā)起在菲律賓建立東亞地區(qū)的體育組織,先后得到中國(guó)、日本的響應(yīng)與支持,并于1917年正式創(chuàng)立"遠(yuǎn)東體育協(xié)會(huì)",成為世界首個(gè)地區(qū)性國(guó)際體育組織。美國(guó)基督教青年會(huì)籍體育之名行傳教之實(shí)的模式取得了巨大成功,一方面使西方體育、美國(guó)價(jià)值體系在東亞地區(qū)生根發(fā)芽,另一方面推動(dòng)了東亞社會(huì)的現(xiàn)代化進(jìn)程。
[Abstract]:The American Young Men's Christian Association was the key to the establishment of the far East Sports Association. At the end of the 19th century, the American Young Men's Christian Association became more and more mature and began to expand its overseas missionary cause. East Asia is considered to be an important territory for the inheritance and development of "Christ" culture in the future. In 1912, Brown, an officer of the American Youth Association, initiated the establishment of a sports organization in the Philippines, which received the response and support of China and Japan. In 1917, the far East Sports Association was officially founded, becoming the world's first regional international sports organization. The mode of missionary teaching in the name of sports in the United States has achieved great success. On the one hand, the western sports and American value system have taken root in East Asia, on the other hand, it has promoted the modernization process of East Asian society.
