【摘要】： 華僑華人研究是史學研究中一個重要的課題。華僑華人是一個身份特殊的群體,雖然史學界尚沒有把對這一群體的研究及成果列入相關(guān)通用教材,但我們不能否認他們存在的久遠歷史,不能忽視他們的貢獻,尤其在那些具有得天獨厚條件的僑鄉(xiāng),華僑華人的重大作用更是無法替代的。 廣州,作為一個歷史文化名城,無論在歷史、地理,政治、經(jīng)濟、文化等各方面都具有自己的優(yōu)勢,尤其是廣州與海外華僑華人無論歷史還是現(xiàn)實的關(guān)系,更是其他一些城市無法企及的。廣州與華僑華人的關(guān)系有著深厚的歷史淵源,扎實的革命根基,雄厚的經(jīng)濟基礎(chǔ),千絲萬縷的思想文化機緣。 特別是在民國時期,廣州作為大革命的策源地,成為民國時期活躍在歷史舞臺上的重要城市之一,而此時廣州與海外華僑華人的關(guān)系也較歷史上更為密切。孫中山先生曾說“華僑乃革命之母”,這樣的評價可以看出兩者的關(guān)系。在有關(guān)民國時期廣州華僑華人的研究中,很多人注重于華僑華人對廣州革命的貢獻、經(jīng)濟建設(shè)的投資等方面,很少有獨立的文章專門論述華僑華人對廣州教育的貢獻。其實在廣東省內(nèi),有關(guān)華僑華人捐資興辦的教育事業(yè)在廣州的周邊地區(qū)(如江門五邑等地)表現(xiàn)更為突出。 翻開廣州民國時期的學校教育史,我們不時會看到華僑華人的身影,此文在當前有關(guān)華僑華人研究的大背景下,把民國時期廣州的教育發(fā)展分成階段論述,著重分析在各階段華僑華人對廣州教育的捐助、華僑華人回國執(zhí)教、僑生回國就讀及華僑華人對廣州教育的支持對廣州現(xiàn)代化的影響等。以此使人們認識到,不僅現(xiàn)代有很多華僑華人回國捐資助學、回報祖國,其實在民國時期已經(jīng)蔚然成風。對人們了解廣州現(xiàn)存各學校相關(guān)校史,了解華僑華人對廣州教育事業(yè)的影響,特別是要強化人們認識到華僑華人對廣州教育事業(yè)的貢獻在精神方面的深遠影響。
[Abstract]:The study of overseas Chinese is an important subject in the study of history. The overseas Chinese are a group with special status. Although the research and achievements of this group have not yet been included in the relevant general textbooks, we cannot deny their long history and cannot ignore their contributions. Especially in those unique conditions of overseas Chinese, the important role of overseas Chinese can not be replaced. Guangzhou, as a famous historical and cultural city, has its own advantages no matter in history, geography, politics, economy, culture, etc., especially the historical or realistic relationship between Guangzhou and overseas Chinese. It is beyond the reach of other cities. The relationship between Guangzhou and overseas Chinese has profound historical origin, solid revolutionary foundation, solid economic foundation and countless ideological and cultural opportunities. Especially in the period of the Republic of China, Guangzhou, as the birthplace of the Great Revolution, became one of the important cities active on the historical stage during the period of the Republic of China, and the relationship between Guangzhou and overseas Chinese was closer than that in history. Mr Sun Zhongshan once said, "overseas Chinese are the mother of revolution." In the study of overseas Chinese in Guangzhou during the period of the Republic of China, many people pay attention to the contribution of overseas Chinese to the Guangzhou Revolution and the investment in economic construction, and few independent articles specifically discuss the contribution of overseas Chinese to Guangzhou's education. In fact, in Guangdong Province, overseas Chinese donating funds to set up educational undertakings in the surrounding areas of Guangzhou (such as Jiangmen Wuyi) more prominent. Turning to the history of school education in the Republic of Guangzhou, we will see the figure of overseas Chinese from time to time. This article discusses the educational development of Guangzhou during the Republic of China into stages against the background of the current research on overseas Chinese and Chinese. The contribution of overseas Chinese to Guangzhou education in various stages, the return of overseas Chinese to teach, the return of overseas Chinese students to study in Guangzhou and the influence of overseas Chinese on Guangzhou's modernization are analyzed. In order to make people realize that not only many overseas Chinese returned to China to donate money to help their motherland, but also became popular in the period of the Republic of China. It is necessary to understand the relevant school history of Guangzhou's existing schools and the influence of overseas Chinese on Guangzhou's education, especially to strengthen people's recognition of the profound spiritual impact of the contribution of overseas Chinese to Guangzhou's education.
