【摘要】：美國是世界公認的科技強國，它擁有眾多的世界一流大學(xué)。美國的大學(xué)為其培養(yǎng)出了眾多的杰出人才，為美國各行各業(yè)的建設(shè)與發(fā)展提供了巨大的智力支持。美國大學(xué)的成功與其大學(xué)校長的努力有著莫大的關(guān)系。本文采用因素分析法、比較法與文獻法，試圖從美國大學(xué)校長成功的內(nèi)外部因素及個人因素出發(fā)進行全面的探析，以期對美國大學(xué)校長成功的因素有一個理性而科學(xué)的認識，從而為我國建設(shè)世界一流大學(xué)提供啟示和借鑒。 本論文共分為四部分: 第一部分主要描述了美國大學(xué)校長的群體肖像，包括其在公眾心目中的形象、職位的標準形象及其任職的條件及工作職責。 第二部分主要描述了美國大學(xué)校長的成功都體現(xiàn)在哪些方面，即履職的成功、社交的成功和個性的成功。 第三部分主要探討了美國大學(xué)校長成功的因素，即社會的大環(huán)境因素，，高等教育體制的小環(huán)境因素及大學(xué)校長本人的因素。 第四部分是美國大學(xué)校長成功的因素對我國大學(xué)及大學(xué)校長辦學(xué)治校的啟示與借鑒。 本文力圖對美國大學(xué)校長成功的內(nèi)外部因素及個人因素進行科學(xué)、全面的分析，并結(jié)合我國高等教育的現(xiàn)實情況，針對我國高等教育存在的相關(guān)問題，提出了幾點建議，以期獲得對我國建設(shè)一流大學(xué)的啟示與借鑒。
[Abstract]:The United States is a recognized scientific and technological power in the world, it has many first-class universities in the world. It provides enormous intellectual support for the construction and development of various industries in the United States. The success of American universities has a great relationship with the efforts of their university presidents. This paper adopts factor analysis method, comparative method and literature method. This paper attempts to make a comprehensive analysis of the internal and external factors and personal factors of the success of American university presidents in order to have a rational and scientific understanding of the factors of success of American university presidents. So as to build a world-class university in China to provide inspiration and reference. This thesis is divided into four parts: The first part mainly describes the group portraits of American university presidents, including their image in the eyes of the public, the standard image of the position, the conditions of their service and their duties. The second part mainly describes the success of American university presidents in what aspects, that is, success in performing their duties, social success and personality success. The third part mainly discusses the success factors of American university presidents, that is, social environmental factors, small environmental factors of higher education system and university presidents themselves. The 4th part is the inspiration and reference of the success factors of American university presidents to Chinese universities and university presidents. This paper tries to make a scientific and comprehensive analysis of the internal and external factors and personal factors of the success of American university presidents, and combines with the reality of higher education in our country, aiming at the related problems of higher education in our country. This paper puts forward some suggestions in order to obtain enlightenment and reference to the construction of first-class universities in China.
