多元智能理論在初中英語詞匯教學中的實證研究

  眾所周知,詞匯與語言能力密切相關。盡管詞匯在教學中已經(jīng)受到高度重視,但它仍然是初中生學習中的薄弱環(huán)節(jié)。除了缺乏詞匯量之外,學生在讀寫中不能很好的使用單詞,從而導致對英語學習失去了興趣,也是一種常見的現(xiàn)象。國家英語課程標準主張為提高教學效率,教育應考慮到學生的個體差異,最大限度地滿足學生的不同發(fā)展需要。筆者認為,多元智能理論是改善學生詞匯教與學狀況,滿足學生需求的一種有效的方法。多元智能理論認為,為全面促進學生的發(fā)展,在教學中應注意個體的不同智能分布,并在課堂上開展大量不同類型的教學活動。本文將多元智能理論應用到詞匯教學中,主要探討了以下兩個研究問題。問題1:基于多元智能理論的詞匯教學能否改進學生的詞匯學習策略?問題2:基于多元智能理論的詞匯教學能否提高學生的詞匯能力?為了探索將多元智能理論應用于詞匯教學的有效性,筆者在遼寧省海城市感王中學選擇了7年級的2個班作為實驗對象,進行了為期17周的教學實驗。實驗班采用多元智能理論教學,控制課采用傳統(tǒng)教學方法。通過問卷調(diào)查、測驗和訪談等方式分析,結(jié)果表明,實驗班英語詞匯學習策略得到了改善,而且實驗班英語詞匯運用能力明顯高于控制班。這說明將多元智能...
