中醫(yī)是中華民族的優(yōu)秀文化遺產(chǎn)之一。在古代的唯物論和辯證法思想的影響和指導(dǎo)下,經(jīng)過數(shù)千年的醫(yī)療實踐,它已逐步形成并發(fā)展成為一個獨特的醫(yī)學(xué)理論體系,為中國人民及世界人民的保健事業(yè)做出了巨大的貢獻。近年來,隨著中國對外開放步伐的加快,中西方文化交流也在不斷加強。而作為中國文化載體的中醫(yī)越來越受到國際醫(yī)藥界的重視,其對外翻譯工作也得到了較大的發(fā)展。然而,隨著中醫(yī)藥對外翻譯工作深入和廣泛的開展,翻譯中出現(xiàn)的問題也越來越多,有些問題直接影響到中醫(yī)的對外傳播工作。為此國內(nèi)外便有一批學(xué)者和翻譯人員開始致力于中醫(yī)英語的翻譯研究工作,他們獨到的研究,為中醫(yī)藥文化對外翻譯的健康發(fā)展奠定了實踐和理論基礎(chǔ)。但由于文化背景、專業(yè)領(lǐng)域及翻譯理論的不同,這些學(xué)者大多各自為政,難以形成較統(tǒng)一的中醫(yī)英譯原則及方法,而對中醫(yī)名詞術(shù)語的英譯更是“百花齊放、百家爭鳴”。筆者將借鑒中醫(yī)翻譯前輩們的寶貴經(jīng)驗對中醫(yī)名詞術(shù)語英譯的原則及方法從文化視角進行剖析,試圖使中醫(yī)英譯者在翻譯過程中對中西文化差異這一因素引起重視。本論文共包含了五個章節(jié)。 第一章通過對文化,語言和翻譯間關(guān)系的論述,闡明了文化翻譯在加強民族文化影響力中的重...
