“譯釋論”視角下的典籍英譯研究 ——以《詩經(jīng)·國風(fēng)》英譯本為例

在當(dāng)今文化全球化的背景下，翻譯中國典籍能夠在弘揚(yáng)民族文化促進(jìn)文化融合的同時(shí)保持中國固有的文化身份，這具有重要的意義。本文結(jié)合《詩經(jīng)》英譯的實(shí)例研究韋努蒂“譯釋論”作為評(píng)價(jià)典籍翻譯的理論價(jià)值。譯釋論運(yùn)用語言學(xué)、語義學(xué)和語文學(xué)中的概念將典籍翻譯的全過程劃分為原文本、作為元語言的譯文本和作為價(jià)值論的譯文本三個(gè)層面，其中帶有價(jià)值論的翻譯這一層面區(qū)別了典籍翻譯與一般翻譯，是最為重要的。在譯釋論中，韋努蒂將能指與所指這對(duì)概念作為典籍翻譯三個(gè)層面的共同概念，同時(shí)，他提出了“譯釋語”的概念，并將其定義為連接典籍翻譯三層面的一定社會(huì)體制。因此，我們能夠在譯釋論基礎(chǔ)上從語言學(xué)視角研究典籍翻譯，并以譯釋論的典籍翻譯三個(gè)層面指導(dǎo)典籍翻譯過程的評(píng)價(jià)研究。本文首先介紹了國內(nèi)外有關(guān)典籍翻譯的理論研究成果，隨后闡述了譯釋論的理論框架結(jié)構(gòu)及基組成概念作為研究的理論基礎(chǔ)。為研究譯釋論的評(píng)價(jià)作用，我們選取了國內(nèi)外《詩經(jīng)·國風(fēng)》的四種英譯本作為評(píng)價(jià)對(duì)象，并從典籍翻譯的三個(gè)層面研究了同一原文本的不同注釋及翻譯。能指與所指在譯本的評(píng)價(jià)過程中被作為主要標(biāo)尺，較好的譯本能更佳地傳遞原文本的所指并不斷積聚經(jīng)典價(jià)值。因此，本文在譯文本層...
