【摘要】：本篇翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告是針對(duì)《中國(guó)文化學(xué)》(覃德清著,2015)第十九章及第二十章的英譯而寫(xiě)。該書(shū)的理論視野涵蓋了中國(guó)完整疆土領(lǐng)域以及中國(guó)56個(gè)民族的文化整體格局,為中國(guó)文化學(xué)的理論建構(gòu)和國(guó)學(xué)研究的深化發(fā)展指明了方向。筆者所翻譯的部分主要敘述中國(guó)文化形態(tài)結(jié)構(gòu)中的中國(guó)人的生活文化習(xí)俗和中國(guó)人的審美心理與文化理想兩個(gè)部分,囊括了中華民族文化形態(tài)的各個(gè)部分,包括服飾、飲食、居住、行與交通在內(nèi)的生活習(xí)俗；以及中華民族豐富的精神文化、審美心理和文化理想。語(yǔ)言以記敘、議論為主,語(yǔ)言學(xué)術(shù)性強(qiáng),并穿插大量的民族文化專(zhuān)有名詞和文化負(fù)載詞,內(nèi)容涵蓋中國(guó)民族文化、精神文化、審美心理和文化理想。根據(jù)文本的語(yǔ)言特點(diǎn),筆者采用奈達(dá)功能對(duì)等理論作為本篇實(shí)踐報(bào)告的指導(dǎo)原則,分別從詞匯對(duì)等、句法對(duì)等、篇章對(duì)等、文體對(duì)等四個(gè)方面進(jìn)行了詳細(xì)介紹。在本篇翻譯報(bào)告的核心章節(jié)“案例分析”中,筆者首先對(duì)此次翻譯過(guò)程中遇到的難點(diǎn)進(jìn)行了分析和歸類(lèi),然后結(jié)合翻譯過(guò)程,經(jīng)過(guò)認(rèn)真思考,運(yùn)用直譯、意譯、直譯加注釋、調(diào)整語(yǔ)序法、合譯法、分譯法等翻譯策略,對(duì)譯文中的典型句子作了詳細(xì)分析。其中,原文含有大量的民族文化專(zhuān)有名詞和文化負(fù)載詞,為保留中國(guó)歷史文化元素同時(shí)又能讓外國(guó)讀者更好地理解原文意思,筆者在奈達(dá)功能對(duì)等理論的宏觀指導(dǎo)下,結(jié)合直譯、意譯和注釋等多種翻譯方法進(jìn)行翻譯。力求兼顧原文與譯文,用地道的英語(yǔ)再現(xiàn)原文風(fēng)格。對(duì)于一些學(xué)術(shù)性強(qiáng)的精神文化和審美心理相關(guān)詞語(yǔ)的翻譯,筆者要在充分理解原文的基礎(chǔ)上,采用意義對(duì)等的方法進(jìn)行翻譯,使讀者更容易接受。最后,筆者總結(jié)了本次翻譯實(shí)踐的幾點(diǎn)收獲,并指出了自己在此次翻譯實(shí)踐中的不足以及今后的努力方向。本篇翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告在奈達(dá)功能對(duì)等理論的宏觀指導(dǎo)下,還采取了增補(bǔ)主語(yǔ)、長(zhǎng)句分層、語(yǔ)內(nèi)翻譯與直譯相結(jié)合等多種翻譯方法,并通過(guò)舉例說(shuō)明這些翻譯策略,以達(dá)到積累經(jīng)驗(yàn)教訓(xùn)、鍛煉翻譯實(shí)踐能力,忠實(shí)地向外國(guó)讀者傳遞中國(guó)文化信息的目的。希望本翻譯實(shí)踐及其報(bào)告能夠?yàn)榻窈蟮闹袊?guó)文化學(xué)翻譯實(shí)踐以及相關(guān)研究提供一些幫助。
[Abstract]:This translation practice report is based on the English translation of chapters 19 and 20 of Chinese Culture. The theoretical perspective of the book covers the complete territory of China and the overall cultural pattern of 56 nationalities in China, which points out the direction for the theoretical construction of Chinese culture and the deepening development of the study of Chinese culture. The part translated by the author mainly describes the cultural customs of Chinese people in the structure of Chinese culture and the aesthetic psychology and cultural ideal of Chinese people, which includes all parts of Chinese culture, including clothing and diet. Living, traveling and transportation, as well as the rich spiritual culture, aesthetic psychology and cultural ideals of the Chinese nation. Language is mainly narrative and argumentative, language is academic, and a large number of national cultural proper nouns and culture-loaded words are interspersed, covering Chinese national culture, spiritual culture, aesthetic psychology and cultural ideal. According to the linguistic characteristics of the text, the author adopts Nida functional equivalence theory as the guiding principle of this practical report, and introduces in detail four aspects: lexical equivalence, syntactic equivalence, textual equivalence and stylistic equivalence. In the core chapter of this translation report, "case Analysis", the author first analyzes and classifies the difficulties encountered in the translation process, then combines the translation process, after careful thinking, using literal translation, free translation, literal translation and annotation. The typical sentences in the translation are analyzed in detail by adjusting the word order, combining the translation method and dividing the translation strategy. Among them, the original text contains a large number of national cultural proper nouns and culture-loaded words. In order to preserve the elements of Chinese history and culture and at the same time to enable foreign readers to better understand the meaning of the original text, the author is guided by Nida's functional equivalence theory. Combined with literal translation, free translation, annotation and other translation methods for translation. Try to balance the original text with the translation, and reproduce the original style in authentic English. On the basis of fully understanding the original text, the author should adopt the method of meaning equivalence to translate some highly academic spiritual, cultural and aesthetic psychological related words so as to make them more acceptable to readers. Finally, the author summarizes some achievements of this translation practice, and points out his shortcomings in the translation practice and the direction of future efforts. Under the macro guidance of Nida's functional equivalence theory, this translation practice report also adopts a variety of translation methods, such as supplementary subject, long sentence stratification, combination of intra-lingual translation and literal translation, and illustrates these translation strategies through examples. In order to accumulate experience and lessons, train translation practice ability and faithfully transmit Chinese cultural information to foreign readers. It is hoped that this translation practice and its report will provide some help for the future Chinese cultural translation practice and related studies.
