【摘要】：正引言翻譯專業(yè)碩士生的實(shí)踐課一般都涉及典籍英譯的內(nèi)容,可以放在專門的"國學(xué)經(jīng)典英譯"或"國粹文化英譯"課里。就翻譯難度而言,典籍英譯應(yīng)該屬于難度最大的幾種之一,原因如下:國學(xué)經(jīng)典的撰寫年代距今較為久遠(yuǎn),相對(duì)而言內(nèi)容艱深晦澀,理解上頗多困難;國學(xué)經(jīng)典的相關(guān)研究文獻(xiàn)浩如煙海,譯者需要批閱海量資料才能深入理解原文(包括不同版本)并且動(dòng)手翻譯;國學(xué)經(jīng)典在歷史上已經(jīng)存在諸多英文譯本,譯者面臨參考取舍與否的問題。
[Abstract]:The practical courses of master's degree students in preface translation generally involve the content of translation of classical books into English, and can be placed in special courses of translating classics of Chinese classics into English or translation of Chinese quintessence culture into English. In terms of the difficulty of translation, the translation of classical books into English should be one of the most difficult ones, for the following reasons: the writing of Chinese classics is a long time ago, the content is relatively difficult and obscure, and the understanding is quite difficult; In order to understand the original texts (including different versions) and translate them, there are many English versions of the classics in history, and there are a lot of English versions of the classics in the history of the Chinese Classics, and the translators need to read a great deal of materials in order to get a thorough understanding of the original texts (including different versions). The translator is faced with the question of whether to make reference or not.
