運(yùn)用閱讀策略培養(yǎng)和提高聾高中學(xué)生英語(yǔ)閱讀能力的研究

【摘要】:近幾年來(lái),在經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化的潮流中,世界各民族之間的交流日益頻繁,英語(yǔ)作為門(mén)連接國(guó)與國(guó)之間的國(guó)際性語(yǔ)言影響力越來(lái)越大。為了學(xué)好英語(yǔ),學(xué)習(xí)者應(yīng)當(dāng)掌握四種基本語(yǔ)言技能即聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀、寫(xiě)。雖然聾學(xué)生不能“說(shuō)”,但可以借助美式手語(yǔ)表達(dá)出來(lái)。在這四項(xiàng)技巧中,讀占有很重要的地位,因?yàn)樗瓤梢酝貙捜说囊曇坝挚梢詭椭岣咂渌?xiàng)技能,所以聾高中學(xué)生應(yīng)當(dāng)重視提高閱讀技能。 本論文主要研究運(yùn)用閱讀技巧培養(yǎng)和提高聾高中學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)閱讀能力,激發(fā)英語(yǔ)閱讀興趣,達(dá)到英語(yǔ)教學(xué)大綱的要求。 為了驗(yàn)證擴(kuò)充詞匯量,提高閱讀速度,豐富背景知識(shí)有助于學(xué)生英語(yǔ)閱讀能力的提高,兩個(gè)班共12名學(xué)生參加了該實(shí)驗(yàn),實(shí)驗(yàn)班有6名學(xué)生,對(duì)照班有6名學(xué)生(由于是特殊教育學(xué)校,聾學(xué)生數(shù)量有限,因此每班只有6名學(xué)生)。實(shí)驗(yàn)中運(yùn)用了前測(cè),后測(cè)的實(shí)驗(yàn)方法以證明該實(shí)驗(yàn)的可行性。在實(shí)驗(yàn)前筆者分別對(duì)兩個(gè)班進(jìn)行了語(yǔ)言測(cè)試,以了解他們的英語(yǔ)閱讀現(xiàn)狀。然后對(duì)實(shí)驗(yàn)班的學(xué)生進(jìn)行閱讀能力的培養(yǎng)。而對(duì)照班的學(xué)生仍舊按常規(guī)教學(xué)進(jìn)行,即在教學(xué)中不貫徹任何閱讀技巧方面的知識(shí)。經(jīng)過(guò)一個(gè)學(xué)期的實(shí)驗(yàn),學(xué)生在以下幾個(gè)方面有了改進(jìn):一是閱讀英語(yǔ)文章的速度得到了提高。二是完成英語(yǔ)閱讀理解試題的準(zhǔn)確性提高了。三是能在更深層次上理解英語(yǔ)閱讀文章了。以上三方面的提高主要在于實(shí)驗(yàn)班的學(xué)生能夠利用適當(dāng)?shù)拈喿x策略進(jìn)行閱讀實(shí)踐。 本論文由五部分組成。第一部分介紹了英語(yǔ)閱讀對(duì)于語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí)的重要性,聾學(xué)生英語(yǔ)閱讀的現(xiàn)狀,該選題的研究背景和研究目的等。第二部分是文獻(xiàn)綜述,該部分主要闡述了聾學(xué)生與健聽(tīng)學(xué)生在英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)方面的不同,英語(yǔ)閱讀策略,有效閱讀燈概念。第三部分主要介紹研究目的,研究對(duì)象,研究工具和研究過(guò)程。第四部分是對(duì)數(shù)據(jù)進(jìn)行統(tǒng)計(jì)分析和討論。第五部分是結(jié)論、啟示與不足,為今后的研究提出建議。
[Abstract]:In recent years, in the trend of economic globalization, the communication between different nations in the world is becoming more and more frequent, and the influence of English as an international language between countries is becoming more and more great. In order to learn English well, learners should master four basic language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Deaf students can't speak, but they can be expressed in American sign language. Reading plays an important role in these four skills, because it can not only broaden one's horizons but also help to improve the other three skills, so deaf high school students should attach importance to improving their reading skills. This thesis focuses on how to cultivate and improve the English reading ability of deaf senior high school students by using reading skills to stimulate their interest in English reading and to meet the requirements of English syllabus. In order to verify that expanding vocabulary, improving reading speed and enriching background knowledge contribute to the improvement of students' English reading ability, 12 students from two classes participated in the experiment. There were 6 students in the experimental class. There are six students in the control class (there are only six students per class because of the limited number of deaf students in special education schools). The experimental methods of pre-test and post-test are used to prove the feasibility of the experiment. Before the experiment, the two classes were tested in order to understand their English reading status. Then the students in the experimental class were trained in reading ability. The students in the control class are still taught as usual, that is, they do not carry out any reading skills in the teaching. After a semester of experiments, students have improved in the following areas: first, the speed of reading English articles has been improved. Second, the accuracy of the English reading comprehension test has been improved. The third is to be able to understand English reading articles at a deeper level. The improvement of the above three aspects mainly lies in the ability of the students in the experimental class to use appropriate reading strategies for reading practice. This paper consists of five parts. The first part introduces the importance of English reading to language learning, the present situation of deaf students' English reading, the research background and purpose of this topic. The second part is a literature review, which mainly expounds the differences between deaf students and healthy listening students in English learning, English reading strategies and the concept of effective reading lamp. The third part mainly introduces the research purpose, research object, research tools and research process. The fourth part is to carry on the statistical analysis and the discussion to the data. The fifth part is the conclusion, the enlightenment and the insufficiency, puts forward the suggestion for the future research.
