[Abstract]:Bart, a Norwegian anthropologist, has long had an impact on international social sciences. In Bart's view, the (ethnic boundary) of ethnic boundary is embodied by different groups in the process of interaction, which is of great significance for understanding the frontier. Frontier is an important subject in Chinese academic circles because it is related to sovereignty. However, this is only one aspect of the frontier. The concept of frontier existed long before the concept of sovereignty appeared. Therefore, the understanding of the frontier can not ignore the interaction between different cultures or ethnic groups, so the frontier is a "contact area". Nowadays, as the frontier of contact area, the subject of interaction has been transferred from different cultures and ethnic groups to the state, but the sub-national subject interaction still exists. This kind of interaction is mixed, but it is certain that if the countries concerned pay more attention to sovereignty than people's livelihood in the so-called frontier, it will inevitably lead to a negative trend of sub-state interaction. Bart's significance to us in understanding the frontier lies in revealing the fluidity of the boundary (boundary) between different subjects. This fluidity is the result of interaction between subjects. Therefore, to understand the frontier from Bart's perspective can give us an appreciation of the tension inherent in the concept and its tension in reality.
