[Abstract]:Why did Shen Dengmiao Ming and Qing scientists from the middle of the Ming Dynasty to the late Qing Dynasty, the advanced intellectuals in China, such as Li Shizhen, Song Yingxing, Xiang Mingda, Xu Shou, either abandon their official career, or because their official career is not willing to turn to scientific and technological research. Some literati officials such as Xu Guangqi, Xu Youren and others used their spare time to study natural science. These famous scientists are traditional sciences.
