本文的目的是估計中國國有商業(yè)銀行的競爭力。特別是,我估計2輸入和2個中國國有商業(yè)銀行產(chǎn)出技術(shù)效率,規(guī)模效率,純技術(shù)效率。根據(jù)非參數(shù)方法（DEA）方法,我估計技術(shù)效率和投入使用的12個中國商業(yè)銀行的產(chǎn)出。銀行的平均總技術(shù)效率的規(guī)模報酬不變是在2008年0.72。實證結(jié)果表明,低效率有許多工作要做隨著生產(chǎn)的,而不是資源的低效利用的規(guī)模。在規(guī)模報酬遞減下占據(jù)近60%（7家銀行的12個銀行）的總銀行的銀行,這意味著要減少他們的生產(chǎn)規(guī)模。這一證據(jù)是在國有銀行更加明顯。
