【摘要】：隨著經(jīng)濟和文化間的跨國交流越來越頻繁,會展行業(yè)迅猛發(fā)展。但是由于語言和文化的差異性導致會展中來自不同國家的參展商之間存在著溝通障礙,因此口譯工作者在會展中扮演著重要角色。學者們在會議、旅游、法律和醫(yī)療等口譯領域均有廣泛研究,但在會展口譯方面的探討并不充分。因此筆者希望就這一方面做相關研究。本文為以筆者在第25屆北美高中出國留學會展(成都)中擔任口譯譯員的工作為研究對象�？谧g過程中筆者遇到多種口譯障礙。在分析這些口譯障礙的基礎上,有以下三個發(fā)現(xiàn)：第一,口譯障礙是由語言和文化因素而導致的。語言方面的因素包括：外國口音,專業(yè)術語和語法的使用。文化因素包括對不同的社會習俗和價值觀的理解。第二,為克服語言障礙筆者推薦采用以下方法：學習并了解外國口音,掌握筆記法和圖示法,利用現(xiàn)場工具如展板、海報、宣傳手冊和傳單以及采用省略、類比和音譯這類翻譯方法。第三,針對因文化因素而導致的口譯障礙,應從以下兩個方面來解決：了解源語言和目的語言國家的文化規(guī)范并在口譯工作前掌握會展的背景知識。以上發(fā)現(xiàn)是通過分析筆者所經(jīng)歷的23個口譯例證而得出的。本文希望通過對會展口譯的研究,能為應對會展口譯中的障礙提供一些有效的解決方法。
