隨著全球自由貿(mào)易的深入發(fā)展,國與國之間的經(jīng)濟(jì)競爭越來越激烈。各國都會(huì)在不同程度上設(shè)置貿(mào)易壁壘來保護(hù)本國的工業(yè)和市場。如今,中國正攜手“一帶一路”,不斷深化與貿(mào)易伙伴的合作。為了幫助經(jīng)濟(jì)和貿(mào)易領(lǐng)域的人員和機(jī)構(gòu)了解我國重要貿(mào)易伙伴存在的貿(mào)易壁壘,進(jìn)而處理這些問題,筆者選取了美國貿(mào)易代表辦公室發(fā)布的《2014年國別貿(mào)易壁壘評估報(bào)告》(2014 National Trade Estimate Report on Foreign Trade Barriers)的歐盟和澳大利亞部分,共15000字,作為本實(shí)踐報(bào)告的語料。該報(bào)告將貿(mào)易壁壘分為九類,包括貿(mào)易協(xié)定、政府采購、知識產(chǎn)權(quán)保護(hù)、服務(wù)貿(mào)易壁壘、投資壁壘、電子商務(wù)及其他壁壘等。由于該報(bào)告涉及經(jīng)濟(jì)、醫(yī)學(xué)、法律、電信和國際貿(mào)易等領(lǐng)域的專門知識,其語言風(fēng)格十分嚴(yán)謹(jǐn),而且有許多長而復(fù)雜的句子、機(jī)構(gòu)名稱和文件名稱。為了使翻譯與原文的風(fēng)格如出一轍,筆者決定以著名英語語言學(xué)家韓禮德(M.A.Halliday)的語域理論及其三要素“語場”、“語旨”和“語式”為指導(dǎo),采用恰當(dāng)?shù)姆g策略來處理翻譯過程中遇到的具體問題。本實(shí)踐報(bào)告首先說明了此次翻譯任務(wù),介紹了源文本的內(nèi)...
