【摘要】：本文從目的論的角度探討了聯(lián)合利華公司茶類(lèi)專(zhuān)利說(shuō)明書(shū)的漢譯過(guò)程。專(zhuān)利文獻(xiàn)作為科技文獻(xiàn)的一種類(lèi)型,具有很高的參考價(jià)值和使用價(jià)值。它保護(hù)的不是具體的物質(zhì)利益,而是抽象的知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán),因此專(zhuān)利翻譯顯得尤為重要。但長(zhǎng)期以來(lái),大部分研究都是從詞匯、語(yǔ)法和文本特征上著手,缺乏系統(tǒng)的理論支持。 目的論從宏觀角度為專(zhuān)利說(shuō)明書(shū)翻譯工作者確定了合理的翻譯理論框架。其中“目的原則”指明了翻譯方向,而“忠實(shí)原則”和“連貫原則”則為譯者明確了翻譯思路。 聯(lián)合利華作為全球知名的食品、日化品集團(tuán),非常注重在華的專(zhuān)利申請(qǐng)。本文以其茶類(lèi)專(zhuān)利說(shuō)明書(shū)英漢文本為研究對(duì)象,首先從整體上對(duì)專(zhuān)利說(shuō)明書(shū)的結(jié)構(gòu)、文本特點(diǎn)和功能進(jìn)行了介紹。其后對(duì)原文和譯文進(jìn)行對(duì)比分析得出兩者的異同點(diǎn)。繼而結(jié)合實(shí)例分析了目的論視角下翻譯專(zhuān)利說(shuō)明書(shū)各部分應(yīng)遵循的主要原則以及對(duì)應(yīng)譯本應(yīng)符合的標(biāo)準(zhǔn),并得出如下結(jié)論： 1)翻譯技術(shù)背景部分時(shí),譯者應(yīng)以目的原則為準(zhǔn),保證譯文的客觀性； 2)翻譯發(fā)明詳述部分時(shí),譯者應(yīng)以連貫原則為準(zhǔn),使譯文準(zhǔn)確、可讀性強(qiáng)、表達(dá)專(zhuān)業(yè)化； 3)翻譯權(quán)利要求書(shū)時(shí),譯者應(yīng)遵循忠實(shí)原則,力求譯文在格式上與原文一致,表達(dá)準(zhǔn)確并保留原文中的模糊性。 最后通過(guò)案例分析提出了滿足翻譯標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的具體技巧,如分句、重組、增詞法、減詞法等。希望本文通過(guò)案例分析,能為專(zhuān)利說(shuō)明書(shū)的漢譯提供一定的參考價(jià)值。
[Abstract]:This paper discusses the translation process of Unilever tea patent specification from the perspective of Skopos theory. As a type of scientific and technological documents, patent documents have high reference value and use value. It protects not concrete material interests, but abstract intellectual property rights, so patent translation is particularly important. However, for a long time, most of the studies are based on lexical, grammatical and textual features, lacking systematic theoretical support. Skopos theory defines a reasonable theoretical framework for patent translators from a macro point of view. The Skopos principle points out the direction of translation, while the principle of faithfulness and coherence clarifies the translator's thinking of translation. Unilever as a world-renowned food, daily chemicals group, very focused on patent applications in China. In this paper, the English and Chinese text of the tea patent specification is taken as the research object. Firstly, the structure, features and functions of the patent specification are introduced. Then the author makes a comparative analysis of the original text and the translated text and finds out the similarities and differences between the two. Then it analyzes the main principles to be followed in translation of patent specification from the perspective of Skopos theory and the standards corresponding to the translation, and draws the following conclusions: 1) in the background part of translation technology; The translator should follow the Skopos principle to ensure the objectivity of the translation, 2) in the detailed part of the invention of translation, the translator should follow the principle of coherence to make the translation accurate, readable and professional. 3) the translator should follow the principle of faithfulness, strive for the consistency of the translation format with the original text, express accurately and retain the ambiguity in the original text. Finally, some specific techniques to meet the translation criteria, such as clause, recombination, lexical addition and subtraction, are put forward through case study. I hope this paper can provide some reference value for Chinese translation of patent specification through case study.
