[Abstract]:[objective] to explore the different connotations and meanings of "heart" in different extension levels, in order to understand the etiology of disease from different angles, and to enlighten and draw lessons from the clinical practice of traditional Chinese medicine. [methods] the history of the etiology of the seven emotions was briefly introduced through the study of the ancient books, and the significance of the words "disease", "heart" and "emotion" in ancient Chinese was studied. This paper explores the relevant evidence of the view of disease in Huangdi's Internal Classic, and combines the essence of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism in Chinese traditional culture, and gives an example of the influence of Confucian benevolence thought on the naming of disease in Huangdi's Internal Classic. Finally, examples of the clinical application of TCM to the disease. [results] the "heart" in the traditional Chinese cultural concept is not only the meaning of the physical heart, nor is it limited to the "heart" of the seven emotions in the psychological level, but also has a far-reaching extension, and even transcends the individual and rises to the level of the Tao. The heart also contains the reason why man is human, even the supreme theory of the universe and the wisdom of "the unity of heaven and man". Physicians of all dynasties have a profound understanding of this and use it to guide clinical practice. Conclusion: the different levels of heart are closely related to health, especially the latter, which is worth exploring and pondering. Chinese medicine is rooted in Chinese traditional culture, and the same traditional culture can not be separated from traditional Chinese medicine.
