前言目前全球有3.5億乙型肝炎病毒（hepatitis B virus,HBV）慢性攜帶者,每年約1百萬死于HBV感染所致的肝衰竭、肝硬化、原發(fā)性肝癌。中國屬HBV感染高流行國家,約有1.2億慢性HBV攜帶者和3000萬慢性乙型肝炎患者,這些慢性乙型肝炎患者很容易發(fā)展成肝硬化、肝癌。因此,慢性乙型肝炎是嚴(yán)重威脅人類健康的疾病之一,但是HBV的精確致病機制尚未完全闡明。盡管外科技術(shù)和各種輔助治療手段的完善,但是肝臟的功能衰竭和肝癌手術(shù)切除后的復(fù)發(fā)和轉(zhuǎn)移仍然是乙肝相關(guān)性肝病的主要死亡原因。因此,乙型肝炎病毒慢性感染導(dǎo)致的肝臟纖維化、肝硬化甚至肝細胞肝癌仍然是基礎(chǔ)和臨床研究的熱點。盡管在肝臟病毒感染后所致的肝臟纖維化在一定的條件下可以實現(xiàn)逆轉(zhuǎn),但是目前的研究結(jié)果僅僅局限于動物模型中,尤其是在晚期肝硬化形成后,肝臟的病理改變已無法逆轉(zhuǎn)。眾所周知,人體多種組織器官中存在干細胞,這些細胞在器官損傷時是組織再生和修復(fù)。研究認(rèn)為,組織器官中的干細胞與腫瘤細胞有著密切的關(guān)系且具有某些共同特征。最近的研究表明,組織器官中的成體干細胞可能是組織細胞發(fā)生惡性轉(zhuǎn)化的靶細胞。在發(fā)生組織損傷的器官中,慢性感染和組織...
