Hydroxyapatite/alumina nanocrystalline composite powders needed for various biomedical applications were successfully synthesized by sol–gel process. Structural and morphological investigations of the prepared composite powders were performed using X-ray diffractometer(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), X’Pert HighScore software, and Clemex Vision image analysis software.
