【摘要】:正2017年4月19日路透社Stephanie Nebehay:蓋茨基金會、西方各國以及制藥公司承諾將支持熱帶病消除計劃,并鼓勵更多捐助者加入,一同對抗這些導致熱帶地區(qū)貧困人民失明、殘疾以及毀容疾病的斗爭中。據(jù)世界衛(wèi)生組織(WHO)發(fā)布的數(shù)據(jù)顯示,主要分布在亞非拉美地區(qū)的約有15億人口,感染了已知的18種被忽視的熱帶病(NTDs)之一種。其中有10億人正在接受治療,兒童患者占據(jù)一半。
