[Abstract]:Objective to investigate the role of S100A9 in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and its relationship with disease activity. Methods Serum samples of 59 RA patients with different disease activity and 20 healthy volunteers were collected.Serum S100A9 levels in RA patients and healthy controls were detected by Elisa, and the correlation with clinical and laboratory indexes was analyzed. Results the level of S100A9 in RA patients was significantly higher than that in healthy volunteers.According to the DAS28 score, the S100A9 level of RA was significantly higher in the severe active group than that in the moderate active group, and the level of S100A9 in the mild active group was significantly higher than that in the mild active group.Correlation analysis showed that the level of S100A9 was positively correlated with the RF level of DAS28 and the number of joint swelling and tenderness in RA patients (P 0.01).Conclusion Serum S100A9 level in RA patients is significantly higher than that in RA patients, which is closely related to disease activity.Serum S100A9 level can be used as a marker for evaluating RA disease activity.
