新聞?wù)Z體的批評性話語分析——以孟晚舟事件的報道為例

經(jīng)濟技術(shù)的迅猛發(fā)展使得中國越來越多地受到世界各國的關(guān)注,成為新聞報道的核心。作為技術(shù)市場領(lǐng)軍公司的華為,在領(lǐng)域內(nèi)具有深遠的影響力,關(guān)于華為的報道常常登上各國新聞的頭版。2018年12月1日,華為首席財務(wù)總監(jiān)孟晚舟在加拿大轉(zhuǎn)機時,被加拿大當局代表美國政府暫時扣押,這一事件引發(fā)了各國輿論的高度關(guān)注。對相關(guān)新聞的報道涉及大國之間政治、外交關(guān)系和經(jīng)濟競爭,也反映了報道背后各國的主導思想。本研究使用批評性話語分析的方法對美國和加拿大兩國媒體針對孟晚舟的新聞報道進行分析。本研究通過搜集加拿大《環(huán)球郵報》和美國《紐約時報》關(guān)于孟晚舟事件的相關(guān)報道,自建兩個小型語料庫。通過費爾克勞的三維模型分析,從詞匯選擇、情態(tài)、新聞源及引語等角度進行批評性分析,旨在通過批評性話語分析的方式對孟晚舟扣押事件里美國和加拿大兩國的新聞報道進行分析,尋找在本事件新聞報道中的語言特征,話語范式以及話語范式與意識形態(tài)之間的關(guān)系。研究所得結(jié)論有:1)總體而言《環(huán)球郵報》在遣詞造句方面更具有專業(yè)性,《紐約時報》句式變換更為豐富,更能吸引讀者;2)《環(huán)球郵報》和《紐約時報》在報道者分別抓取關(guān)鍵詞對事件框架進行了全面的描述,但在關(guān)鍵詞...
