【摘要】：20世紀(jì)以來,"國民性改造"成為影響中國現(xiàn)代文化的主導(dǎo)話語之一。作為一種知識話語,有關(guān)中國國民性話語產(chǎn)生的源頭在哪里?本文從報刊媒體與知識生產(chǎn)的角度,以最早在華出版的英文外報《廣州記錄報》和稍后的《中國叢報》為個案,從源頭上探究報刊媒體與中國國民性話語生產(chǎn)的關(guān)系;通過梳理兩家報刊有關(guān)中國的報道和評論,考察分析早期在華外報對中國國民性認(rèn)知?dú)v程,揭示在華外報如何賦予"中國國民性"之內(nèi)涵,以及背后的潛在動因。
[Abstract]:Since 20th century, "the transformation of national character" has become one of the dominant words that influence modern Chinese culture. As a kind of knowledge discourse, where is the origin of the discourse of Chinese national character? From the point of view of newspaper media and knowledge production, this paper takes the first published English newspaper Guangzhou Recorder in China and the later China Cong newspaper as a case study. To explore the relationship between newspaper and media and the production of Chinese national discourse from the source; By combing the reports and comments of the two newspapers about China, this paper examines and analyzes the cognitive process of the Chinese national character in the early foreign newspapers in China, and reveals how the foreign newspapers in China endow the connotation of "Chinese national character". And the underlying underlying motivation.
