【摘要】：蒂姆·溫頓出生于1960年西澳大利亞,他是澳大利亞當(dāng)代最著名的作家之一,曾四次榮獲澳大利亞文學(xué)最高獎(jiǎng)“邁爾斯文學(xué)獎(jiǎng)”。 溫頓的家鄉(xiāng)在澳大利亞西海岸地區(qū),地域的特點(diǎn)極大地影響了他的創(chuàng)作風(fēng)格,溫頓將他主要的寫作靈感歸功于澳大利亞西海岸優(yōu)美的地域風(fēng)光。 他眾多的作品都蘊(yùn)含和體現(xiàn)了生態(tài)批評(píng)主義理論的思想,其原則就是倡導(dǎo)萬物合一,和諧共處。作為蒂姆·溫頓最著名的作品之一, 《云街》中包含著非常深刻的生態(tài)批評(píng)主義理論的思想。 這本小說描述了萊姆和皮克斯兩個(gè)家庭。這兩個(gè)家庭在云街經(jīng)歷了許許多多的喜怒哀樂之后,在愛的幫助下摒棄了疏離和偏見,回歸了統(tǒng)一并建立了一個(gè)親密、和諧的社區(qū)。通讀小說,其中所體現(xiàn)出來的人與社會(huì)、精神以及生態(tài)自然界的從疏離沖突到和諧統(tǒng)一的過程正符合生態(tài)批評(píng)理論所研究的內(nèi)容和倡導(dǎo)的主題。本論文試圖運(yùn)用生態(tài)批評(píng)理論來分析溫頓的《云街》中所蘊(yùn)含的生態(tài)思想。即通過分析人物的塑造和故事的發(fā)生揭示出是人類中心主義導(dǎo)致文本中所反映出來的人與社會(huì)生態(tài)、自然生態(tài)、精神生態(tài)的各種沖突。而只有生態(tài)整體主義才能幫助人們從沖突走向和解,為了達(dá)到和解,人類既要重視自我的精神生態(tài)狀況,保持其平衡穩(wěn)定,在精神、社會(huì)、自然界等多方面形成一種和諧的生活方式,也要在面對(duì)整個(gè)生態(tài)自然世界時(shí),對(duì)他人和自然充滿關(guān)愛之情。由此本論文得出結(jié)論,只有摒棄人類中心主義,擁抱生態(tài)整體主義,人類才能夠?qū)φ麄�(gè)生態(tài)系統(tǒng)有更好的認(rèn)識(shí),恢復(fù)責(zé)任感,并真正喚起人類愛的力量。在愛的凝聚下,人類才能解決沖突,達(dá)成和解,重建社區(qū),最終融入到整個(gè)生態(tài)系統(tǒng)中并使其成為一個(gè)和諧、統(tǒng)一的整體,明確體現(xiàn)了生態(tài)主義思想對(duì)于人類生活所具有的指導(dǎo)意義。
