消費(fèi)社會(huì)理論下《夜色溫柔》的解析

弗朗西斯·斯科特·基·菲茨杰拉德是美國文學(xué)史上最重要的作家之一,被譽(yù)為爵士時(shí)代的代言人,是二十世紀(jì)二十年代旅居國外的“迷惘的一代”中的代表。本文以他的長(zhǎng)篇小說《夜色溫柔》作為研究對(duì)象,采用鮑德里亞的消費(fèi)社會(huì)理論來分析消費(fèi)文化開始盛行的時(shí)代大背景下小說中主要人物的命運(yùn)。從而展現(xiàn)消費(fèi)社會(huì)對(duì)人類生存與精神世界的巨大影響!兑股珳厝帷分形镉麢M流和精神荒原的現(xiàn)象值得我們關(guān)注。菲茨杰拉德對(duì)當(dāng)時(shí)上升的資產(chǎn)階級(jí)準(zhǔn)確的觀察和寫實(shí)的描寫對(duì)物質(zhì)至上的現(xiàn)代社會(huì)仍有啟發(fā)作用。法國理論家鮑德里亞同時(shí)吸收了社會(huì)學(xué)和符號(hào)學(xué)的觀點(diǎn),形成其獨(dú)特的消費(fèi)社會(huì)理論。此理論可以加深對(duì)小說中大量的消費(fèi)符號(hào),異化的人際關(guān)系,以及人物悲劇成因的理解。本論文由六部分組成,緒論部分將介紹美國作家菲茨杰拉德及其作品《夜色溫柔》,并提出論文的框架結(jié)構(gòu)。第一章論述鮑德里亞的消費(fèi)社會(huì)理論的起源與定義,并重點(diǎn)討論消費(fèi)社會(huì)的三大特點(diǎn):符號(hào)消費(fèi)、商品化的人際關(guān)系、享樂主義。接下來三章是論文的主體部分,是圍繞理論展開對(duì)文本的分析。第二章將用消費(fèi)社會(huì)理論的符號(hào)消費(fèi)現(xiàn)象挖掘作品中人與物的關(guān)系,分別從被消費(fèi)的商品和被消費(fèi)的休閑活動(dòng)這兩個(gè)角度,闡釋主人公如何依靠...
