從社會(huì)認(rèn)同角度解讀《皮格馬利翁》中伊莉莎的身份問(wèn)題

喬治·蕭伯納(1856-1950)被公認(rèn)為是繼莎士比亞之后又一偉大的英國(guó)劇作家,作為一名現(xiàn)實(shí)主義劇作家,其作品往往傳遞深刻的社會(huì)意義,同時(shí),他也強(qiáng)調(diào)文學(xué)的道德功能。作品《皮格馬利翁》講述了一個(gè)相貌清麗出身貧寒的街頭賣花女伊莉莎,通過(guò)接受語(yǔ)言學(xué)家西斯金的六個(gè)月語(yǔ)言訓(xùn)練以及上流社會(huì)的禮儀學(xué)習(xí),成功地轉(zhuǎn)變談吐高雅,儀態(tài)端莊的貴族小姐。而伊莉莎在經(jīng)歷身份轉(zhuǎn)變過(guò)程中,對(duì)之前認(rèn)同的自身身份迷惘困惑,并因此尋求身份的重新界定。前人對(duì)于該作品的討論主要集中在該劇的女性主義批評(píng),存在主義批評(píng)以及原型批評(píng)等,而伊莉莎在身份探求以及身份認(rèn)同的問(wèn)題上并沒(méi)有得到太多關(guān)注。有鑒于此,本文試圖運(yùn)用身份認(rèn)同相關(guān)理論來(lái)探究《皮格馬利翁》中伊莉莎的身份問(wèn)題以及伊莉莎轉(zhuǎn)變之后的身份構(gòu)建問(wèn)題,進(jìn)而挖掘蕭伯納劇作的社會(huì)道德意義。論文分為五個(gè)部分。第一部分介紹了作者喬治·蕭伯納和他的《皮格馬利翁》、相關(guān)的社會(huì)認(rèn)同理論、國(guó)內(nèi)外對(duì)于作品作家的研究現(xiàn)狀,研究的視角以及本文的結(jié)構(gòu)。第二章從社會(huì)分類,社會(huì)比較和積極區(qū)分三個(gè)方面探究作為社會(huì)底層的賣花女的伊莉莎的身份問(wèn)題。伊莉莎屬于英國(guó)底層階級(jí)的一員。本章介紹伊莉莎在早期中對(duì)所屬群體和社會(huì)環(huán)...
