性別操演理論下《父親的微笑之光》解讀

艾麗絲·沃克是美國當(dāng)代最著名的黑人女作家,她深入思考黑人,婦女等邊緣群體受到的各種不公平待遇的問題并以此作為寫作根源,喚起了無數(shù)女性追求自我性屬、身份、自由等方面的平等意識。艾麗絲·沃克獨有的婦女主義思想更是將其寫作造詣推向文學(xué)高峰,并為其他共同為女性地位奮斗的女作家起到了先鋒作用。出版于1998年的小說《父親的微笑之光》(By the Light of My Father’s Smile)是愛麗絲·沃克最著名的代表作之一,小說以死去的父親對女兒們的懺悔為敘事對話背景,回顧了一系列父親對女兒們的殘酷暴行,揭示了黑人女性在父權(quán)制統(tǒng)治下性屬壓迫的現(xiàn)狀和對女性身份地位追求的愿望。本文運用朱迪斯·巴特勒和她的性別操演理論,提出女性并非只有被壓迫的命運,她們也有追求自身的性屬權(quán)利,性別不是單一的、永恒的、固定的,而是具有延續(xù)性、反復(fù)性和條件性等等。同時也揭示主體的性別身份不是既定的,而具有模糊不穩(wěn)定的特征。在此基礎(chǔ)之上將《父親的微笑之光》中的女性人物與其理論文本相結(jié)合,進一步闡釋性別操演理論。全文分由五個章節(jié)組成。第一部分為文章的引言部分,簡單地介紹了艾麗絲·沃克的生平以及文學(xué)地位,并介紹她的代...
