托妮·莫里森早期小說中瘋女人的身份追尋

作為一個常常被忽視的特殊社會群體,黑人女性因為她們的“隱匿性”一直受到黑人女性作家和評論家的關(guān)注。黑人女性應(yīng)當(dāng)如何自處以及如何處理與其他群體的關(guān)系共同成為了長久以來困擾她們的身份問題。針對這一問題,作為當(dāng)代最負盛名的黑人女性作家之一的托妮·莫里森在她的早期小說《最藍的眼睛》、《秀拉》和《所羅門之歌》中描繪了眾多的瘋女人形象,對黑人女性的身份問題進行了探索。在莫里森所描繪的瘋女人形象中,《最藍的眼睛》中佩科拉和寶琳的瘋狂分別代表了黑人女性的兩種不同生存現(xiàn)狀。通過這一對瘋女人形象,莫里森向世人展現(xiàn)了黑人女性的真實存在和真實苦難,提出了黑人女性的身份問題!缎憷分行憷鸵镣薜寞偪穹謩e代表了黑人女性對待黑人社群的兩種不同態(tài)度,展現(xiàn)了現(xiàn)代性與黑人性的沖突。通過這一對瘋女人形象,莫里森探討了黑人女性與黑人傳統(tǒng)和黑人社群的關(guān)系,表明割裂與傳統(tǒng)和社群的聯(lián)系并不是黑人女性的出路。在隨后的《所羅門之歌》中,哈格爾和派拉特展現(xiàn)了黑人女性與黑人男性的兩種不同相處狀態(tài)。通過這一對瘋女人形象,莫里森強調(diào)了黑人女性在追尋自己身份時獨立自主的重要性。托妮·莫里森早期小說中的諸多瘋女人形象顯然在不斷地追尋黑人女性的身...
