生態(tài)批評(píng)在20世紀(jì)90年代成為文學(xué)研究領(lǐng)域的顯學(xué)，它基于生態(tài)思想的基本原則，即整體的、和諧的、多樣化的、相互依存的原則，重新評(píng)價(jià)和判斷文學(xué)作品，旨在弘揚(yáng)那些關(guān)愛(ài)自然、崇尚人與自然、人與人、人與自我和諧關(guān)系的思想。在生態(tài)批評(píng)的基礎(chǔ)上，生態(tài)女性主義則更加注重探討文學(xué)作品所反映的人際間和社會(huì)中平等公正的問(wèn)題，更加關(guān)注兩性之間的征服、支配與統(tǒng)治，指出婦女和自然受壓迫的根源是男性中心主義意識(shí)并倡導(dǎo)相互依存和關(guān)愛(ài)的倫理。兩者都致力于文明批判，試圖消解人類中心主義和男性中心主義所特有的二元對(duì)立思想，建立一種新的自然觀和世界觀�；谏鷳B(tài)主義和生態(tài)女性主義的思想，本文從生態(tài)批評(píng)的視角對(duì)維拉·凱瑟的經(jīng)典作品進(jìn)行重新研究與闡釋，并對(duì)作者具有前瞻性的生態(tài)意識(shí)進(jìn)行剖析。維拉·凱瑟是20世紀(jì)前半葉美國(guó)文學(xué)史上最重要并最多產(chǎn)的女作家之一。長(zhǎng)久以來(lái)，凱瑟研究可謂碩果累累；但以往對(duì)凱瑟的評(píng)價(jià)，往往只注重于“人性的治療者”、“鄉(xiāng)土作家”、“浪漫懷舊作家”、“文體作家”等方面，而忽略了她的另一側(cè)面：生態(tài)問(wèn)題的憂患者和思索者、以及生態(tài)作家的身份。本文運(yùn)用生態(tài)批評(píng)的相關(guān)理論，從自然生態(tài)（人與自然）、社會(huì)生態(tài)（人與人）、精神生態(tài)...
