【摘要】：西方學(xué)者將旅行寫作的史前史上溯至《圣經(jīng)》和《奧德賽》。自16世紀(jì)以來,寫作就是旅行必不可少的組成部分,旅行寫作被公眾廣泛閱讀。但是直到20世紀(jì)80年代旅行寫作才開始受到英美學(xué)界的嚴(yán)肅對待,并成為人文社會學(xué)科的重要研究對象,旅行寫作的文化價(jià)值和詩學(xué)價(jià)值被肯定,并被視為最具文化、社會重要性的文類,它們記錄了歐洲各國的民族自我認(rèn)同和對于他者的界定。旅行寫作研究關(guān)注旅行寫作的修辭策略、話語體系及其文化再現(xiàn)與帝國知識生產(chǎn)、意識形態(tài)之間的關(guān)系,并在與他者相遇并再現(xiàn)他者的歷史架構(gòu)中書寫了旅行寫作的歷史,考察了歐洲與他者相遇的歷史經(jīng)驗(yàn)及其對于"異族"的發(fā)現(xiàn)、觀察、解釋與再現(xiàn)。本文擬從旅行寫作與帝國敘述、旅行寫作史的建構(gòu)、旅行寫作的真實(shí)與虛構(gòu)三個(gè)層面,對當(dāng)代英美旅行寫作研究予以評述。
[Abstract]:Western scholars trace the prehistoric history of travel writing to the Bible and Odyssey. Since the 16 th century, writing has been an essential part of travel, and travel writing has been widely read by the public. However, it was not until the 1980s that travel writing began to be taken seriously by British and American scholars, and became an important research object of humanities and society. The cultural value and poetics value of travel writing were affirmed, and they were regarded as the most culturally and socially important types of literature. They recorded the national self-identity and the definition of the other in European countries. The study of travel writing focuses on the rhetorical strategies of travel writing, the relationship between discourse system and its cultural reproduction and imperial knowledge production and ideology, and writes the history of travel writing in the historical structure of meeting and reproducing the other, and examines the historical experience of meeting the other in Europe and its discovery, observation, explanation and reproduction of the "alien". This paper intends to comment on the study of contemporary British and American travel writing from three aspects: travel writing and imperial narration, the construction of travel writing history, and the truth and fiction of travel writing.
