【摘要】：英國華工的生存現(xiàn)狀鮮有記錄,《中國絮語》打破了沉默。該書揭發(fā)了當代英國隱形“奴隸制”下的黑工生產(chǎn)線,為21世紀英國既受制法者制裁、又受違法者欺侮的華工移民還原歷史。在剖析這一“現(xiàn)代奴隸制”的剝削鏈環(huán)時,該書譴責英國華人社區(qū)的階級剝削和精英主義,同時指出英國移民、勞工保障等制度的弊端。然而,作者指向英國體制的鋒芒卻常藏于對華人與中國的自我批判之下,其言說立場暴露了英國白人文化宰制下少數(shù)族裔的弱勢話語權(quán)。盡管其主題難逃種族、政治意識形態(tài)的局限,該書的新聞化寫作卻拓展了族裔文學(xué)的敘事空間,豐富了族裔文學(xué)的創(chuàng)作形式。
[Abstract]:There are few records of the living status of British Chinese workers, and the silence has been broken by Chinese whispering. The book reveals the black workers' production line under the invisible "slavery" in contemporary Britain, restoring the history of Chinese workers immigrants who were both sanctioned by the law and bullied by the violators in the 21st century. In analyzing this exploitation chain of "modern slavery", the book condemned class exploitation and elitism in the British Chinese community, and pointed out the drawbacks of the British immigration, labor protection and other systems. However, the author points to the edge of the British system, which is often hidden under the self-criticism of the Chinese and China, and his position exposes the weak voice of the ethnic minorities under the British white culture. Although its theme can not escape the limitations of race and political ideology, the news writing of the book expands the narrative space of ethnic literature and enriches the creative form of ethnic literature.
