[Abstract]:Salinger's initiation novel "Catcher in the Rye" by the famous American writer in the 20th century has become a representative work of post-modern narration with its unique narrative style. The author adopts the first person retrospective narration in the novel, with the experience self in the story and the narrative self separated from the story, the author arranges the plot with great ingenuity, and deepens the theme of the work by means of the double perspective of the experience self in the story and the narrative self outside the story. The author also describes a picture of American life under the industrial civilization and the inner world of a adolescent's complicated contradiction with the inner focus narrative. The non-personification narrative causes the author to give up the persuasive preaching function of the traditional novels, and makes another interpretation of the survival environment of the postwar American teenagers with a transcendental attitude.
