【摘要】：作為深具實(shí)力與影響力的海外華人作家,嚴(yán)歌苓的新移民小說(shuō)成就顯著。論文以嚴(yán)歌苓赴美后創(chuàng)作的新移民小說(shuō)為研究對(duì)象,從東方主義的角度切入,進(jìn)行文本解讀,考察嚴(yán)歌苓及其新移民小說(shuō)與東方主義的關(guān)系,深入辨析嚴(yán)歌苓在其新移民小說(shuō)中對(duì)東方主義的迎合與解構(gòu),同時(shí)肯定嚴(yán)歌苓在東西方文化交流融合中所做的努力。論文共由緒論和正文組成,緒論主要包括對(duì)嚴(yán)歌苓在美國(guó)華人文學(xué)史上的定位和相關(guān)術(shù)語(yǔ)界定、國(guó)內(nèi)外學(xué)界對(duì)嚴(yán)歌苓創(chuàng)作的研究概況及研究方法和意義的闡述。第二章,系統(tǒng)論述了東方主義對(duì)嚴(yán)歌苓本人的影響,以及對(duì)其新移民小說(shuō)創(chuàng)作的影響,包括主題、題材、環(huán)境及人物三個(gè)方面。第三章結(jié)合具體文本,分析嚴(yán)歌苓在新移民小說(shuō)中體現(xiàn)出的對(duì)東方主義迎合的姿態(tài)。第四章主要結(jié)合文本分析嚴(yán)歌苓新移民小說(shuō)對(duì)東方主義的解構(gòu),表現(xiàn)嚴(yán)歌苓在跨文化背景下自由寫(xiě)作,并力圖從文化沖突中超脫出來(lái),更多關(guān)注文化交流和溝通。結(jié)語(yǔ)部分總結(jié)概括了嚴(yán)歌苓新移民小說(shuō)創(chuàng)作的動(dòng)因和意義。
[Abstract]:As a powerful and influential overseas Chinese writer, Yan Geling's new immigrant novels have made remarkable achievements. This paper takes the new immigrant novels created by Yan Geling after going to the United States as the research object, from the angle of Orientalism, analyzes the text, and examines the relationship between Yan Geling and his new immigrant novels and Orientalism. This paper deeply analyzes Yan Geling's pandering and deconstruction to Orientalism in his new immigrant novels, and affirms Yan Geling's efforts in the cultural exchange and fusion between East and West. The introduction mainly includes the definition of Yan Geling's position in the history of American Chinese literature and the definition of relevant terms, and the research survey, research methods and significance of Yan Geling's creation in domestic and foreign academic circles. The second chapter systematically discusses the influence of Orientalism on Yan Geling and his new immigrant novels, including theme, environment and characters. The third chapter analyzes Yan Geling's attitude toward Orientalism in his new immigrant novels. The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the deconstruction of Orientalism in Yan Geling's new immigrant novels, which shows that Yan Geling writes freely under the cross-cultural background, and tries to get rid of the cultural conflict and pay more attention to cultural exchange and communication. The conclusion summarizes the motivation and significance of Yan Geling's new immigrant novel creation.
