【摘要】：杰克·倫敦的《鐵蹄》是一部無產(chǎn)階級革命作品,體現(xiàn)了以埃弗哈德為代表的無產(chǎn)階級推翻資產(chǎn)階級實(shí)現(xiàn)"大同世界"的理想。作品中對白人埃弗哈德男性氣概的塑造、對美國"鐵蹄"統(tǒng)合全球的構(gòu)想、對美國社會主義者作為"大同世界"主宰力量的暗示受到了20世紀(jì)初美國海外擴(kuò)張、民族主義意識形態(tài)的影響,隱含了作者對種族、民族與階級等問題的思考。通過將《鐵蹄》置于歷史和地緣政治視域下,探討世紀(jì)之交帝國話語政治對作家身份、民族敘事的塑形作用,追溯倫敦社會主義思想的局限性之源。
[Abstract]:Jack London's "Iron Hoof" is a proletarian revolutionary work, which embodies the proletariat's ideal of overthrowing the bourgeoisie to realize the "Great Harmony World", which is represented by Everhard. The portrayal of white Everhard's masculinity in his works, the idea of the United States'"iron and feet" integration in the world, and the implication that American socialists are the dominant force in the "one world" were expanded by the United States overseas in the early 20th century. The influence of nationalist ideology implies the author's thinking about race, nationality and class. This paper discusses the role of imperial discourse politics in shaping the writer's identity and national narration by putting it under the historical and geopolitical perspective and tracing back the source of the limitation of London's socialist thought.
