【摘要】：托馬斯·哈代是19世紀末到20世紀初期英國杰出的批判現(xiàn)實主義文學家,作為英國文壇歷史上的一名巨匠,小說被稱作是19世紀現(xiàn)實派文學作品的巔峰。歐美文學評論家將其譽為"英國小說家里的莎翁"。長篇小說《德伯家的苔絲》是他一生中最出色的作品,也是眾多古典主義小說中的傳承佳作,本文主要分析作家創(chuàng)作中展現(xiàn)出的美學特點與人物悲劇價值。
[Abstract]:Thomas Hardy is an outstanding British critical realism writer from the end of the 19th century to the early 20th century. As a masterpiece in the history of English literature, the novel is regarded as the peak of the realistic literary works of the 19th century. European and American literary critics praised it as Shakespeare in the English novel house. Tess of the d'Urbervilles is the most outstanding work in his life and the inheritance of many classical novels. This paper mainly analyzes the aesthetic characteristics and tragic value of the characters in his works.
