埃及的鱷魚:論《安東尼與克莉奧佩特拉》中的異域想象及自我反思

【摘要】:本文對(duì)莎士比亞的第五大悲劇《安東尼與克莉奧佩特拉》中的異域想象進(jìn)行了分析。文章認(rèn)為,劇作展示了當(dāng)時(shí)歐洲人對(duì)東方世界的簡(jiǎn)單化想象,在此過程中,安東尼恰恰是最為鄙夷"埃及性"的羅馬人;莎士比亞雖受時(shí)代影響,對(duì)羅馬/埃及這種二元兩分思維模式有所陷入,但又對(duì)固化的異域想象進(jìn)行了調(diào)侃與諷刺;劇作最終呈現(xiàn)了羅馬人對(duì)他者文化有限的認(rèn)可與接受,但這種認(rèn)可與接受仍然是在自我與他者二元對(duì)立模式下展開的。莎士比亞在劇中就異域想象這個(gè)議題的三重描寫,充分顯示了他在英國(guó)海外擴(kuò)張開端年代所受到的時(shí)代影響,及其自身敏銳的文化洞察力。
[Abstract]:This paper analyzes the foreign imagination in Shakespeare's fifth tragedy Anthony and Cleopatra. According to the article, the play shows the European's simplistic imagination of the eastern world at that time. In the process, Anthony was the most disdainful Roman "Egyptian"; Shakespeare was influenced by the times. The binary dichotomous thinking mode of Rome / Egypt falls into a bit, but it makes fun of and satirizes the solidified foreign imagination. The play finally presents the Romans' limited recognition and acceptance of the other's culture. However, this acceptance and acceptance is still carried out in the dual-opposites of self and otherness. Shakespeare's triple depiction of the issue of exotic imagination fully demonstrates the influence of his time during the beginning of British overseas expansion and his own keen cultural insight.
