【摘要】：喬伊斯的短篇小說《公寓》講述了公寓老板娘穆尼太太精心設(shè)計圈套,縱容女兒珀麗勾引房客多倫,強促二者婚姻。以往研究也曾探討母女的合謀及社會環(huán)境帶給多倫的壓力,但目前尚無從人物的社會思維角度對該作品進行的分析。社會思維理論是新近產(chǎn)生的學術(shù)假設(shè),強調(diào)認知的社會屬性,屬于認知敘事學范疇。本文借助社會思維理論分析《公寓》中人物思維的社會屬性,展現(xiàn)社會思維全景,并得出結(jié)論:《公寓》運用社會思維敘事技巧促成人物間的合謀以及意識形態(tài)層面各種勢力間的合謀,有效地展示了特定背景下都柏林城市社會的精神癱瘓這一主題。
[Abstract]:Joyce's short story Apartments tells the story of Mrs. Mooney, the condominium's wife, who connived at her daughter, Percy, to seduce her tenant, Dolan, and force them to marry. Previous studies have also explored the collusion of mother and daughter and the pressure brought by social environment to Dolon, but there is no way to analyze this work from the perspective of social thinking. The theory of social thinking is a newly developed academic hypothesis which emphasizes the social attributes of cognition and belongs to the category of cognitive narratology. With the help of the theory of social thinking, this paper analyzes the social attributes of the characters' thinking in "apartment", and shows the panorama of social thinking. It is concluded that the use of social thinking narrative techniques to promote the collusion among the characters and the collusion of various forces at the ideological level effectively demonstrates the theme of paralysis in Dublin's urban society under the specific background.
