文章與literature:中西文論如何言說“文學(xué)”

【摘要】：文論關(guān)鍵詞的中西比較,似應(yīng)首選卻最難詮釋的莫過于"文學(xué)"。指稱語言藝術(shù)和學(xué)科類別的"文學(xué)"一詞是19世紀(jì)通過日語轉(zhuǎn)譯過來的,僑詞色彩明顯而本土特征丟失。對文論關(guān)鍵詞作觀念史的考察,或可發(fā)現(xiàn)真正能與literature對譯的是"文章"而非"文學(xué)"。漢語的"文章"與西語的literature雖有時空之隔卻不乏語義之通,此二者之通義依次表現(xiàn)于對文學(xué)觀念之緣起、沿生及再創(chuàng)的言說。在關(guān)鍵詞的根性結(jié)構(gòu)、語義流變和話語轉(zhuǎn)換等不同層面比較"文章"與literature,不僅能看出中西文論如何言說"文學(xué)",還能為中國文論語體系的重建提供有益的嘗試和啟示。
[Abstract]:The comparison of literary key words between China and the West seems to be the first choice, but the most difficult to interpret is literature. The term "literature" referring to language art and subject categories was translated through Japanese in the 19th century. The color of overseas Chinese words was obvious and the native features were lost. An investigation of the conceptual history of literary key words may reveal that it is "articles" rather than "literature" that can truly be translated with literature. Although the Chinese "article" and the literature of the western language are separated by time and space, there is no lack of semantic connection. The common meanings of the two are reflected in the origin of the literary concept, the birth along the line and the re-creation. Comparing "article" with "literature" at different levels, such as the root structure, semantic change and discourse transformation of the key words, can not only see how Chinese and Western literary theories say "literature", but also provide a useful attempt and inspiration for the reconstruction of the system of the Analects of Chinese language.
