海明威短篇小說(shuō)中對(duì)話的藝術(shù)特征

【摘要】:海明威的短篇小說(shuō)為現(xiàn)代主義文學(xué)作品做出了杰出的貢獻(xiàn),并且他尤其重視其短篇小說(shuō)中對(duì)話藝術(shù)的運(yùn)用。越來(lái)越多的學(xué)者應(yīng)用不同的理論對(duì)海明威小說(shuō)對(duì)話的藝術(shù)特征進(jìn)行研究,認(rèn)為海明威的對(duì)話簡(jiǎn)潔、含蓄、生動(dòng)、明快、逼真等。本論文嘗試對(duì)海明威短篇小說(shuō)中對(duì)話從語(yǔ)言特征、敘述特征加以研究并分析這些特征是如何加深主題意義的。本文分為三章,每章選取海明威兩篇典型的短篇小說(shuō)作為案例,探討其對(duì)話在不同方面所起到的功能、藝術(shù)效果和美學(xué)價(jià)值。該論文結(jié)構(gòu)安排如下:第一章論述海明威短篇小說(shuō)中對(duì)話的語(yǔ)言特征,其語(yǔ)言特征一方面表現(xiàn)在對(duì)話語(yǔ)言簡(jiǎn)潔生動(dòng),另一方面表現(xiàn)在含蓄與象征手法的運(yùn)用。第一章分別以《一天的等待》、《一個(gè)干凈明亮的地方》為例來(lái)分析其中對(duì)話在這兩方面的特征;第二章則從敘述聚焦和敘述時(shí)間兩個(gè)角度論述海明威短篇小說(shuō)中對(duì)話的敘述特征。敘述聚焦以《白象似的群山》中對(duì)話為例分析其通過(guò)外部聚焦達(dá)到了客觀敘述、展現(xiàn)人物內(nèi)心世界、引起讀者興趣等藝術(shù)效果,敘述時(shí)間以《殺人者》中對(duì)話為例分析其通過(guò)敘述時(shí)長(zhǎng)、頻率的變化達(dá)到的控制敘述速度、節(jié)奏等藝術(shù)效果;第三章分析了海明威短篇小說(shuō)中對(duì)話如何運(yùn)用前兩章所提及的語(yǔ)言特征和敘述特征來(lái)表達(dá)他的主題意義的。
[Abstract]:Hemingway's short stories have made outstanding contributions to modernist literature, and he attaches great importance to the use of dialogue art in his short stories. More and more scholars apply different theories to study the artistic characteristics of Hemingway's novel dialogue, and think that Hemingway's dialogue is simple, implicit, vivid, bright and lifelike. This thesis attempts to study the linguistic and narrative features of dialogue in Hemingway's short stories and analyze how these features deepen the thematic significance. This paper is divided into three chapters, each chapter selects Hemingway's two typical short stories as a case, discusses its dialogue in different aspects of the function, artistic effect and aesthetic value. The structure of the thesis is arranged as follows: the first chapter discusses the linguistic features of dialogue in Hemingway's short stories, which are characterized by the conciseness and vividness of the dialogue language on the one hand, and the use of implicature and symbolism on the other. The first chapter analyzes the characteristics of dialogue in this aspect by taking "waiting for one day" and "a clean and bright place" as an example, while the second chapter discusses the narrative characteristics of dialogue in Hemingway's short stories from the perspectives of narrative focus and narrative time. The narrative focus takes the dialogue in the White Elephant Mountains as an example to analyze its artistic effects such as objective narration through external focusing, showing the inner world of the characters, arousing readers' interest, etc. The narrative time takes the dialogue in "the murderer" as an example to analyze the artistic effect of controlling the narrative speed and rhythm by changing the narrative duration and frequency. The third chapter analyzes how the dialogue in Hemingway's short stories uses the linguistic and narrative features mentioned in the previous two chapters to express his thematic significance.
