【摘要】：美國后現(xiàn)代派作家E.L.多克托羅的多部小說都以紐約為背景,書寫普通紐約人的生活。通過解析多克托羅借助小說繪制的紐約文化地圖,探討他對(duì)紐約曼哈頓、布朗克斯區(qū)及曼哈頓的下東區(qū)不同態(tài)度背后的文化動(dòng)因,指出他旨在將自己的"猶太裔""美國人""紐約客"這三種身份合而為一,他的視野也不僅僅局限于猶太移民,而是關(guān)注不同文化背景的人群在紐約這個(gè)國際大都市如何共生共存的情況,具有"混雜性世界主義"的特征,因此創(chuàng)造出一種獨(dú)特的都市美學(xué),彰顯出他與美國其他后現(xiàn)代派作家的不同之處。
[Abstract]:E. L., a postmodernist American writer. Many of Doctorow's novels are set in New York and write about the lives of ordinary New Yorkers. By analyzing Doctorow's novel cultural map of New York, he explores the cultural drivers behind his different attitudes toward Manhattan, the Bronx, and the Lower East side of Manhattan. He points out that he aims to combine his "Jewish", "American," and "New Yorker" identities, and that his vision is not limited to Jewish immigrants. Instead, people of different cultural backgrounds are concerned about how they coexist in the international metropolis of New York, which is characterized by "mixed cosmopolitanism," and thus creates a unique urban aesthetics. It shows the difference between him and other American postmodernist writers.
