【摘要】：法國著名作家雨果的研究專著《莎士比亞傳》在西方莎評史上別具一格,意義非凡。他不孤立、封閉地研究莎士比亞,而是立足于比較意識與整體思維,有意識地把莎士比亞置于宏闊的文學(xué)史上已有的大家系列中加以相互觀照,觀照中既強調(diào)共性,又突出差異,使其以極其鮮明的特色和罕見的豐富性呈現(xiàn)出來,進(jìn)而彰顯其在文學(xué)史上無與倫比的價值和地位。他的莎評已經(jīng)使用了后來被稱為比較文學(xué)學(xué)科的研究方法,理應(yīng)是比較文學(xué)研究的先驅(qū)之一。雨果認(rèn)為莎士比亞是集詩人、歷史學(xué)家和哲學(xué)家于一身的杰出天才,在戲劇創(chuàng)作中把對照原則發(fā)揮到了惟妙惟肖的極致。他非常看重《哈姆雷特》《麥克白》《奧瑟羅》《李爾王》等四大悲劇,并從人性與道德的角度對四部悲劇的主人公作了頗具個性的闡發(fā)。他把浪漫派對莎士比亞偉大之處的感悟和體驗酣暢淋漓地表達(dá)了出來,是對莎士比亞藝術(shù)成就最真誠、最激情、最具震撼力的辯護(hù),其研究方法對我們當(dāng)下從事學(xué)術(shù)研究也頗具啟迪與借鑒價值。
[Abstract]:The works of Shakespeare by Hugo, a famous French writer, is of special significance in the history of Western Shakespeare.He did not study Shakespeare in isolation and in isolation, but based on comparative consciousness and overall thinking, consciously put Shakespeare in the existing series of great literary history to look at each other, in which he emphasized the common character.It also highlights the differences, so that they are presented with extremely distinctive characteristics and rare richness, and then show their unparalleled value and status in the history of literature.His criticism, which has used what became known as the subject of comparative literature, is supposed to be one of the pioneers of comparative literature.Hugo regarded Shakespeare as an outstanding genius of poets, historians and philosophers, bringing the principle of contrast to the very best in his dramatic creation.He attaches great importance to the four tragedies, such as Hamlet, Macbeth, Othello, King Lear and so on, and makes a personal analysis of the protagonists of the four tragedies from the point of view of humanity and morality.He expressed the feeling and experience of Shakespeare's greatness at the romantic party. It was the most sincere, most passionate, and most powerful defense of Shakespeare's artistic achievements.Its research method is also enlightening and valuable for us to engage in academic research at present.
