【摘要】：弗蘭納里·奧康納(Flannery O’Connor)是威廉·福克納(William Faulkner)之后美國南方最重要的作家之一。其處女作《智血》是她兩部長篇之一,它從宗教的角度探索了現(xiàn)代人的精神困境。《智血》是關(guān)于黑茲爾·莫茨(Hazel Motes)精神成長的小說,講述了主人公追求信仰的過程。通過對主角成長的描述,奧康納指出了精神追求的重要性。莫茨的心靈一次次受到他在精神追求的道路上相遇的各種人物之沖擊,他一直在矛盾中探尋自我。對于這種復(fù)雜的心理變化和宗教追求,異己的研究方法是最佳的解讀方式之一。本文運(yùn)用異己理論分析黑茲爾·莫茨的精神追求之旅。小說中主人公黑茲爾·莫茨有四位異己形象,他們體現(xiàn)或指向莫茨的不同方面從而促使他一步步認(rèn)識自己。與莫茨先后相遇的異己人物伊諾克(Enoch)、霍克斯(Hawks)、肖茨(Shoats)和萊菲爾德(Layfield)對主人公的精神世界產(chǎn)生了很大影響。除了莫茨與他們的互動,他們的相繼離去或死亡也加深了他對自己的認(rèn)識并促使他獲得精神再生。論文首先分析了托爾金漢姆城中人們的精神危機(jī),在此語境中對異己理論進(jìn)行了闡釋。然后通過考察莫茨與四個異己之間的精神互動分析主人公精神成長的經(jīng)歷和把握小說的宗教寓意。文章最后強(qiáng)調(diào)奧康納作為一個宗教作家對于宗教信仰和精神追求的重視,特別是她通過描寫黑茲爾·莫茨與其異己人物的矛盾與互動表現(xiàn)主人公復(fù)雜的心理世界和曲折的精神成長之路,揭示出獲得救贖的途徑是正確的自我認(rèn)識和精神追求。
[Abstract]:Flannery O'Connorr is one of the most important writers in the South after William Faulkner.His debut, "the Blood of Wisdom," is one of her two long books. It explores the spiritual dilemmas of modern people from a religious point of view. "the Blood of Wisdom" is a novel about spiritual growth by Hazel Motes. it tells the story of the protagonist's pursuit of faith by describing the protagonist's growth. O'Connor points out the importance of spiritual pursuits. Moz's mind has been struck by the various characters he meets on the path of spiritual pursuit, and he has been searching for himself in contradiction. For this complex psychological change and religious pursuit, The research method of dissent is one of the best ways to interpret it. This paper uses the theory of dissent to analyze the spiritual pursuit of Hazel Mozzie. The protagonist Hazel Mozzie has four dissidents in the novel. They showed or pointed to different aspects of Moz, which prompted him to know himself step by step. The dissidents Enochon, Hawksman, Shoatsand Leyfield Layfield, who had met Moz successively, had a great deal of influence on the spiritual world of the protagonists. Influence. Except for Moz's interaction with them, Their successive departure or death also deepened his understanding of himself and encouraged him to acquire spiritual regeneration. First, the paper analyzed the spiritual crisis of people in Tolkinham. In this context, the author interprets the theory of dissension. Then, by examining the spiritual interaction between Moz and the four dissidents, the author analyzes the spiritual growth experience of the protagonist and grasps the religious implication of the novel. At last, the article emphasizes O'Connor as the writer of the novel. The importance a religious writer attaches to religious beliefs and spiritual pursuits, In particular, by describing the contradictions and interactions between Hazel Mozzie and his dissidents, the protagonist's complex psychological world and tortuous path of spiritual growth reveal that the path to redemption is the correct self-knowledge and spiritual pursuit.
