【摘要】：前人對《詩經(jīng)》中動物詞的研究主要從文學(xué)意象,文化背景以及翻譯等角度進(jìn)行,成果頗豐且為后來的研究做了貢獻(xiàn),但也仍存在不足:未關(guān)注《詩經(jīng)》中動物詞象征意義的生成。本研究擬從認(rèn)知語言學(xué)角度填補前人研究的空缺,并從此窺探先秦人們的知識結(jié)構(gòu)和認(rèn)知操作。本研究主要參照朱熹、陳子展、方玉潤、周振甫及程俊英等學(xué)者對《詩經(jīng)》的注解,整理出《詩經(jīng)》中具有象征意義且涵蓋了鳥、獸、蟲、魚的動物詞。基于這些學(xué)者的論著,本文將《詩經(jīng)》中這些動物詞的象征意義分為四類:情感象征意義、品德象征意義、政治象征意義和其他象征意義。此外,本研究總結(jié)了這些象征意義的三個主要特征,即體驗性,多重性和民族性。體驗性表明動物詞的象征意義并非任意的,它們與人類和動物的互動體驗密切相關(guān);多重性主要體現(xiàn)了相同的動物詞在不同的語境下會有不同的象征意義;民族性則說明了一個動物詞因受不同的文化背景的影響,而表現(xiàn)出不同甚至是完全相反的象征意義。本研究展現(xiàn)了《詩經(jīng)》中動物詞象征意義的生成。除了少數(shù)動物詞的象征意義直接來自于神話和中國古代圖騰文化,《詩經(jīng)》中大多數(shù)動物詞的象征意義源自人們的隱喻思維。本文擬構(gòu)了“鳥”、“獸”、“蟲”、“魚”概念框架,每個框架都包含了大量的元素,但在特定的語境下時,并非所有的元素都會被激活。因此,部分元素會突顯而其他則會被隱略。通過人們的隱喻思維,動物詞獲得了象征意義,且因人們擁有相似的經(jīng)驗,從而這些象征意義被廣泛接受。《詩經(jīng)》中動物詞的語用效果主要可從三個方面進(jìn)行探討:避諱、語言生動和聯(lián)想激發(fā)。總的來說,通過使用這些動物詞,詩人能清楚地傳遞情感,讀者也能更好地理解詩歌主旨。
