Wh-量化的優(yōu)選分析

本文擬在優(yōu)選論的理論框架下研究Wh-量化的形式和意義問題。文章主要研究以下三個(gè)問題:(1)優(yōu)選句法與原則參數(shù)理論的關(guān)系是什么,特別是優(yōu)選句法的評(píng)估操作與原則參數(shù)理論的演算操作有何關(guān)系;(2)管轄Wh量化形式與解讀的制約條件是什么;(3)從跨語言的角度分析,這些制約條件是如何排序從而產(chǎn)生相應(yīng)的最優(yōu)項(xiàng)。課題的研究目的在于提出某些普遍性的制約條件(Universal Constraints),解釋自然語言中紛繁復(fù)雜的Wh量化現(xiàn)象。 作者認(rèn)為,至少有三條制約條件參與了Wh量化形式的確定:疑問標(biāo)記條件(Q-Marking),疑問域條件(Q-Scope),原位滯留條件(Stay)。前兩項(xiàng)為標(biāo)記性制約條件(Markedness Constraint),后者為忠實(shí)性制約條件(Faithfulness Constraint)。 Wh移位語言(例如英語)的制約條件有以下排列:疑問標(biāo)記條件》原位滯留條件》疑問域條件。若疑問域條件高于原位滯留條件(疑問標(biāo)記條件》疑問域條件》原位滯留條件),則多項(xiàng)Wh-前置現(xiàn)象(如保加利亞語)可以得到合理解釋。若制約條件的排序?yàn)橐蓡栍驐l件》原位滯留條件》疑問標(biāo)記條件,則另外一些...
