　　模糊理論最初是在1965年由美國(guó)學(xué)者扎德提出來(lái)的。之后,它得到了世界各國(guó)語(yǔ)言學(xué)家的廣泛關(guān)注。模糊性被認(rèn)為是語(yǔ)言的自然屬性之一,模糊語(yǔ)的使用突破了傳統(tǒng)語(yǔ)言使用規(guī)則一語(yǔ)言應(yīng)該準(zhǔn)確、清晰、生動(dòng)。我們?cè)谌粘Ｉ钪泻鸵恍┪膶W(xué)作品中可以見(jiàn)到很多模糊語(yǔ)的使用,它們使得表達(dá)更加有效,有的時(shí)候它們甚至能夠表達(dá)出比所謂的精確語(yǔ)言更加精確的語(yǔ)義。 語(yǔ)言能夠反映文化,同時(shí)也能被文化制約。作為語(yǔ)言的一部分,模糊語(yǔ)也同樣與民族文化有著緊密的聯(lián)系。英漢兩個(gè)民族有著截然不同的文化,模糊語(yǔ)在這兩種語(yǔ)言中的使用也必然有著異同之處。本文旨在探討英漢模糊語(yǔ)民族文化的差異,通過(guò)對(duì)比的方法,分析英漢模糊語(yǔ)在語(yǔ)義、語(yǔ)用、修辭等方面的異同,并通過(guò)對(duì)中西方地理環(huán)境、經(jīng)濟(jì)格局和思維方式的分析探討產(chǎn)生英漢模糊語(yǔ)民族文化差異的根源。此研究會(huì)對(duì)外語(yǔ)教學(xué)和跨文化交際有所啟示,因?yàn)橛h模糊語(yǔ)的使用對(duì)跨文化交際影響很大,如果被忽視了,交際勢(shì)必要失敗,只有對(duì)造成此差異的原因進(jìn)行深入的了解,不同文化間的交際才能順利進(jìn)行。
