西班牙巴塞羅那PACTE,自1997年成立以來一直致力于對譯者翻譯能力習(xí)得研究。該小組通過實證研究和分析指出翻譯能力是由雙語交際能力、語言外能力、專業(yè)操作能力、轉(zhuǎn)換能力、策略能力以及心理生理能力構(gòu)成。其中語篇轉(zhuǎn)換能力是核心能力,是聯(lián)系其他能力的關(guān)鍵所在,同時也是體現(xiàn)原語篇與目的語語篇是否等值的重要能力。語篇轉(zhuǎn)換能力是指是從原文到譯文進(jìn)行轉(zhuǎn)換時同時要考慮翻譯的功能以及讀者對譯文的接受程度。它包括理解能力、分解能力和保持原文及譯文各自獨立的能力、重新表述能力以及完成翻譯任務(wù)的能力。自從Catford （1965）提出“翻譯就是用等值的譯語語篇替換原語語篇”,以語篇為翻譯單位的概念在翻譯界被國內(nèi)外學(xué)者的進(jìn)行了廣泛論證并予以認(rèn)可。同時Catford還提出“翻譯實踐的中心任務(wù)就是尋找對等的譯語,而翻譯理論研究的中心任務(wù)則是界定翻譯對等的性質(zhì)和條件”,即只要原語和譯語在所涉情景中可以互換,就構(gòu)成翻譯對等。之后諸多翻譯學(xué)家和系統(tǒng)功能語言學(xué)家提出了翻譯的等值概念,其中Nida的翻譯對等理論對譯界產(chǎn)生了深遠(yuǎn)的影響。他提出的形式對等理論強調(diào)信息和內(nèi)容的等值,動態(tài)對等要求使譯文的讀者對譯文的反應(yīng)要盡量接近原...
